We were made to feel very welcome and were checked in as soon as we arrived whilst we had drinks in the bar! Very comfortable hotel in great location close to Chinatown, Manchester Picadilly and the gay village, All the hotel team were very friendly and our room was well furnished & comfortable. The following morning we enjoyed a nice freshly cooked breakfast. Not the hotel's fault but note to other guests…..there is no signage outside and everyone we asked still only know it as the Princess Hotel!

Superior room on £49 deal fantastic value. Quality decor, spacious bathroom with bath & separate shower. Fairly quiet considering city centre location. Staff helpful.
Location excellent for Chinatown but directions to car park not great.
Signage outside unfinished so it was a little hard to find at first.
Great stay though, would go again.

It was so disappointing that this hotel which was overall good, failed to deliver on service at the bar and in the restaurant. The food was good though., and the Reception team were very helpful. We waited over 30 mins for our drinks to arrive despite the hotel bring really quiet.

Had a Christmas meal with a party of 30 others. Meal good value. Drinks expensive. Shocked to see an added extra on the bill for 'Make a difference donation'. It was only £1 but was appalled to have it added. It did make a difference - my opinion of the hotel was changed from excellent to 'don't pick my pocket'!!!

This small but attractive hotel (previously The Princess) has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and now is of a superior standard. The rooms are excellent with all facilities that you would expect. The staff are pleasant and obliging and the hotel itself is only 200 yds from Oxford Street.
The dining room is small but adequate and the continental breakfast is comprehensive. The menu for the full breakfast (cooked individually) looked appetising for those who like a full stomach early in the day!
The only downside is that taxi drivers don't know of its existence under its new name and there is no signage outside the hotel. I am assured that this is being remedied.
Compared to London, the rates were extremely competitive.
