“Great breakfast”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

Had the 'pimped up beans on toast' which was delicious and my friend had the 'Wellington burger' which she loved. The milkshakes were also pretty good. The staff were helpful. Will be going back again. The outdoor heaters and blankets made sitting outside comfortable (even on a windy day in May!)

“Good food but service is a bit lousy”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

I have been to Thyme out several times and on most occasions, staff give the impression that they were forced to work there.
I love the food and coffee there but that's all. I'm aware the place is very small therefore seats available are limited but as one of the previous reviews said, they don't really care if you find a place or not. Food won't disappoint you but there are lots of other places you can get good food with friendly service.
In summer, garden tables are good by the way - if you can catch a day without rain..

“Great food! Slow service though.”
Reviewed March 4, 2013 via mobile

We visit here a lot and have mixed feelings! The food is really tasty and we haven't had a bad meal yet. Nice smoothies, eggs benedict, panini s and nice cake! Cute seating area outside for the summer with the chickens! Very cute! The staff seen lovely and clearly work v hard but for some reason they hate making any adjustments to their menu such as adding and taking things off a sandwich!? We've waited a long time lots of times. Is their chef stroppy when he has to change a few ingredients on a hot butty!? Thats the impression we get!?
If the wait time wasnt so long we 'd visit their more as their food is tasty and they always have a great selection! The soups are great too!!

“Thyme Out is an outstanding provider.”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

This is an outstanding deli which offers outstanding food, very good customer service and good value for money.

A busy Sunday brunch period was our chosen time to visit and whilst there were no tables free inside, we were able to grab a table outside in the spring sunshine. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman who advised us that there were spaces in the garden.

Despite the busy period, we were served promptly by a different member of staff. He was friendly, happy and smiley and offered very good customer service. The order was taken in a professional manner and the mood was upbeat.

The food arrived in good time and we were not disappointed. Extremely good quality food, cooked exceptionally well. The Full Didsbury, a filled breakfast panini and an omelette was what we ordered. Tea was served in delightful tea pot cups, lovely strong coffee was also served very well. The food was beautiful.

The atmosphere and ethos of the restaurant is very good indeed, it has a busy, friendly vibe. Welcoming guests from all backgrounds, Thyme Out has a positive ethos. Staff work hard to meet the needs of customers. The menu is detailed and wide-ranging,

Value for money is good. It is good because the quality of the food and the experience is well matched to the price you pay here.

Leadership and management of this restaurant are very strong, Clear systems and procedures are in place to deal with busy periods and customer service is of very good quality.

We enjoyed our brunch very much. We would recommend this high quality establishment to all those living within or visiting West DIdsbury,

“long wait”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

We went for a lunch on Saturday. It was busy but there were still some tables available and there were a lot of staff members running around. After ordering our meal we had to wait more than 40 minutes for our lunch was served without anybody telling us in advance that it would take that long. We enjoyed the smoothies. My friend had the rarebit which tasted really good. I had a quiche which was only just about luke warm which was a real shame as the quality of the products is really good at Thyme Out. I probably should have asked to warm it up again but didn't really wanted to wait any longer for my lunch.
