Monday night wouldn’t be the same without a trip to supper club. It’s a great deal and the food is pretty good. For £10 you get a main course, a pudding and a glass of wine. There are usually 2 or 3 dishes to choose from with at least one vegetarian dish. The food is good home cooking and the portions are big. Warming stews and curries are regularly on the menu but my favourite are the Mexican inspired dishes such as chilli or burritos. They come with nice little extras such as grated cheese and sour cream. The baked potatoes are really good, always crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. I often have to take my pudding home as I’m so full. The whole atmosphere is relaxing and you can read a cookery book or play connect 4 while you wait for your food. So if you have the Monday night blues try supper club it will cheer you up and save on the cooking without costing a fortune.
