Haven't been in the midland for years, but was booked there by work recently for a do, but couldn't fault it all. It's obvious a lot of money has been spend on the refurb and everything is to a high spec.
Stays at the Hilton Deansgate sometimes leave me disappointed as lots of small issues, not here, faultless!
We were on the 3rd floor facing out the front so a nice view but not noisy either. The room itself was very large and warm despite the high ceilings with good facilities and very clean. The bathroom was large and spotless too, great power shower.
All staff were friendly and polite from check-in to concierge, to room service to cleaners. We had breakfast in our room, the £5 tray charge seemed more expensive than other places but they did load the tray up well!
Found the AC was excellent and kept us warm despite it being freezing outside, usually hotel AC keeps you warm at best.
The only improvements I would like would be a two layered curtain so you can have the thinner one pulled across to still let some light in while keep some privacy, and the bathmat in the bath to be the whole length of the bath.
