Stayed at Bewleys Manchester Airport twice as a stopover recently. We were a family of two adults and two children.

The hotel is located between T1 and T2 which suited us as we were transferring.

We had a tough time when we first arrived waiting for the shuttle bus at T1 (in the heavy rain) and this wasn't such a great experience.

The hotel itself was fine. Modern style and the family room was adequate for our purposes. We did have buffet breakfast on one of the stays and this was fine too.

The staff were very polite and helpful at all times which was refreshing.

Didn't really notice any other facilities during our stay but of course, our visit was purely functional. I did use the safety deposit box facility and the reception staff were extremely accommodating.

Good low cost value stopover hotel - no more...!

As a family of 4, two being young boys, this was a Fantastic Hotel to spend a night in before we flew out early the following day on our summer holiday. Very clean and modern room. Ideal for young families as its in walking distance to the airport pub where you can watch the planes taking off and landing and the kids can also play there! Definitely staying again.

Staff very efficient and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although no noise from airport there was noise from next door room in the early hours. The location was superb and the shuttle great. Would certainly stay again.

My partner and I stayed here overnight before an early morning flight in July 2011. We booked a double room through booking.com and arrived following a five hour drive, so were probably a bit tired and irritable. When we got to the room we discovered it was a twin and not a double. When I called reception I was told to take it up with booking.com and then they hung up.....If I wasn't so knackered I would have kicked up a fuss. Went down for something to eat and found more rather unfriendly staff who seemed to see customers as something to be contended with. Food was tasty and portions were good, if somewhat pricey. Such a shame as the hotel was clean and otherwise very nice. They have a transfer to the terminal and the driver was very friendly and helpful so not entirely disappointed. All in all, it does what it says on the tin, provides overnight accommodation for travellers but don't expect a warm friendly reception, just a functional, clean faciltiy.

We booked bewleys Manchester airport as had stayed in Leeds hotel which was nice. After being on road for 3 hours getting there just wanted to get checked in and up to room but had to wait in queue for 30 mins. Some kind of new system. Got to room and it was red hot with windows open. Was really surprised to find a hotel like this with no air con. Also did not got travel cot we asked for. Unfortunately outside window was a really busy road which would have been fine but we could not shut them because of the temperature of the room. Rang reception but said there were no rooms available with air con left. Was promised a fan but one never turned up. Went for dinner but bar staff were inefficient so every trip to bar was 10 minute wait at least. Food was not very good for the money I got tikka massala but was quite dry. So ended up getting no sleep before my holiday because of the heat of the room even travelodge has room temperature control. Website said deluxe on suite rooms well a room without air con is just a standard room.

We spent two nights at Bewleys Manchester Airport. It is conveniently located for the airport but not easy access by car because of the lack of signage. One postcode is used for the three hotels in a row and as their carparks are security gated it is difficult to get back on the road to find the correct entrance. There is insufficient clear signage and in heavy traffic on a multiple roundabout the process of finding the right exit is hard.

Our room was adequate, the hotel is large, and in spite of a restaurant and bistro the only breakfast option early was the 'full Irish' and no light option was given in the booklet in the room.

We found the shuttle easy to use and drivers obliging, though we were discouraged from walking to the airport . Once we did walk back though we found it was not difficult and this would have made accessing alternative food a little easier if we had found this out earlier in our stay.

Food in the dining room was adequate but reasonably expensive for what it was.
