This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and it didnt let us down. We booked directly through Bewleys for a nights stay with Bed, Breakfast and Evening meal.
Check in was fine staff very friendly and efficient.
Our room was great we had 2 double beds and it was spotless with everything we needed, tea making tray, ironing board, all very nice, no toiletries but not a problem.
The bar is a nice atmoshere and is very spacious, the bar staff were very friendly, drinks are a little expensive but so are most hotels.
We had our dinner included in the restaurant which comprised of 2 courses, their was plenty to choose from on the menu, food was of a good quality, our waitress wasnt very friendly but I just ignored the fact and enjoyed my meal.
Breakfast the next morning was great, all self service and plenty to choose from, and all very fresh with pastries, fruit, full english, all sorts.
Check out was fine and the shuttle to the airport was very quick.
I like this hotel and wouldnt stay at any others at manchester airport.

We stayed here the night before a trip to the States earlier this month. When checking in we were told the details of where to leave our car, where to collect it from upon return etc. I have no complaints at all about the car parking side of things - that was good value for money and seemed pretty efficient.

We walked to the airport train station and took a train into Manchester for the afternoon which was handy and reasonably priced. It certainly killed some time and meant we could have a choice of what to eat for dinner instead of being confined to hotel food. I really liked that we could jump on a train and head into Manchester so easily as it meant you weren't just hanging around the hotel.

The complimentary shuttle to the airport terminal was handy and quick, even though the guy who drove us to the airport was rude. When we returned we called the number the hotel had given us, told the person which terminal we were in and were told to wait outside near a designated pick up point. We gave our names and proceeded to the pick up point. We waited about ten minutes for the bus to arrive, by which time we'd been joined by six other people. Luckily the bus had 8 seats, meaning we could all fit. I wouldn't have been amused if there had been more people than seats and the driver hadn't prioritised the people who'd called first and given their names!

The actual hotel itself was clean and the restaurant/bar area pretty good and fairly busy (which is always a good sign!). The room was clean, however I did not sleep at all the night before we flew because the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever experienced. This was not what I needed the night before a long flight to the US. Also, the shower was pitiful - you'd have been better off with a watering can. Other than that, the room was what you'd expect really.

To be fair to Bewley's, even though their shower was the worst I can remember, it didn't claim this accolade by much - it seems a lot of hotel showers are sub-standard these days and it got me wondering if it's some sort of eco thing to have showers that trickle water - I'm not sure.

In summary, the hotel plus parking was reasonably priced when compared to other Manchester Airport hotels. It was also very easy to find, had a good shuttle, was clean and had a decent bar/restaurant. Would I stay here again though? I'm not sure. It's a real shame the bed was so terrible. The poor shower I could've put up with but getting no sleep whatsoever the night before a long flight has really put me off staying here again which is a real shame because the other main factors (price, parking, location, being able to pop into Manchester on the train etc) were all plus points.

We booked 2 rooms months ago, left car for a week. Staff OK; guys that drive shuttle bus really nice/friendly/helpful; reception staff OK, not v.friendly. We booked in after holiday at 12.30 a.m. We were exhausted, checking in seemed to take a very long time; we had booked 2 rooms, daughters room OK, air con, clean apart from a huge moth that had to be dealt with! Our room was clean, there was no extra pillows as indicated in room, also there was air conditioning unit in room but it did not work. The room was far too hot, we were exhausted and could not sleep all night. On check out I mentioned this to guy at recception, who advised there should have been extra pillows - there wasnt and as the hotel was full there are only a few rooms that have air con. As we booked months ago, what difference does it make that hotel was full; also there was an air con unit in room so why wouldn't it work? Wasn't getting anywhere and was too tired to push the point; but rececption guy wasnt very helpful!

We stayed on return to get a decent sleep before driving home; this didn't happen.

Great hotel for the park and fly traveler. Transfer to the airport was quick and efficient. Hotel is very comfortable, location is great and the parking setup is very simple. Have used this hotel twice now and would use again should the need arise. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Did not use the restaurant or any other services but they do look good

Room Tip: Room at the back was very comfortable and quiet

Stayed for one night due to our luggage not making it on our flight and having to wait til the next morning. Was tired after a flight from America and wanted rest quick so went for the first place recommended at the info office. Probably could have found somewhere better value for money (it was 80 pounds for 1 night without breakfast) Walking distance to terminal and train in to Manchester was cheap.

We found this hotel a few years ago and now make it part of our holidays, Everything from check in onwards is smooth and effiecient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the public areas are clean and well set out. The car parking facility is always reliable and value for money. We were pleased to be offered a 10% voucher to use next time we visit as we have another trip planned for later in the year.
