We were informed when ordering that the rump steak was "a bit chewy" and advised to order rare (which we always do anyway). At least the waiter was honest-the steak was fine, but nothing special, and pretty difficult to cut at times. There was little to no seasoning on the meat, but it was still reasonably tasty, and the fries/sauce were adequate. Overall, just another average Manchester restaurant, and one I can't see lasting the course unless things improve markedly-getting the raw materials right would be a great start.
