Four of us arrived at Al Nawaz on a Thursday night around 19:00, and after ordering our starters we waited over an hour for them to arrive. Despite reminding the waiter we received no apology. Other people who arrived at a similar time to us had finished their meal and left before we'd even eaten anything.
A similar situation then happened with the main meal. and it was 10:30 by the time the main came, again with no apology. when we came to pay we said that we didn't think it was right to pay for the food as the service had been so awful. At this point an arguement started with the staff which spilled out onto the pavement. Again no apology was issued for the wait we had and they would not offer any discount at all on the food and expected us to pay for everything, which we still refused to do.
The upshot of this was that over the following week I wrote twice to the restaurant (addressing the letter to "the manager"), and received no reply or phone call or anything.
This restaurant clearly are not bothered about customer service, and clearly don't care if customers never come back.
All in all the worst dining expereince we had ever experienced.
