I got this hotel in the sale and was very pleased with it. The rooms were just what I needed and the bathroom was lovely. The thermostat on the wall didn't do much as I think the staff had to program it.

The only thing I didn't like was I was told the bus was £4 each way or £6 return, but it was £5 to the hotel as he driver said they recently took over the service and they didn't do a return. Going back it cost £4 so a total of £9 return.

I stayed for one night with my sister, we had a twin room and still had a two doubled beds, which were excellent and so so so comfy with great soft sheets :) Room was very clean and had tea/ coffee making facilities and great TV. It had shower only but that was very cool and modern one :)
The reception staff were very friendly and professional and the restaurant was good as well :)
The shuttle bus to the airport cost £4 single or £3 return but taxi cost you only £6 so if there is at least two you, it is so much more worth it to take a taxi a the bus can take quite long and does not go that often.

All in all, would happily stay again :)

Room Tip: Great for early or late flight

An excellent stay and couldn't ask for anything else.

Arrived at 3pm and checke straight in, went to our room 211 which was facing the car park.

The room was huge and had everything you needed. The room only had a double bed but could of fitted another one easily.

Shower was nice and hot, had the sink in the bedroom which is different.

Had the meal deal for £22 each and had a lot of choice for food. Evening meal was nice and breakfast next morning was ok.

Will Defo stay again next time in the area. Have now stayed at both hotels and prefer this one.

Bit of a late review....
We stayed here last August before our early morning flight to Tunisia. It was excellent!!. We arrived at 12 noon and expected to have to wait for a room because we where early, but got one straight away. Room 202 I think.
The room was very nice with two big double beds, tea, coffee, and good shower. We where facing the motorway, however didnt hear a thing all night.
We didnt get a good nights sleep, but that is because we where looking forward to the holiday (not Premier Inn's fault!!)
Overall an excellent stay, best premier inn ive stayed in. Just booked it for our holiday this year as we are flying early again and again great value for £29 per night
Would recommend ANYONE travelling from manchester airport to stay here

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel before flying from the airport.

It can be thoroughly recommended as being quiet, clean, and comfortable with friendly staff.

Also ate in the restaurant which was of a good standard.

Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is situated a short distance from the airport and is served by a shuttle bus which costs an exhorbitant £4 per person each way for the short distance. (If you are going both ways you can get a return for £6.) From the airport, the Premier Inn is the first drop off but be warned that if you are going from the inn to the airport, you need to leave plenty of time, as the bus goes round the houses to several other hotels first and takes around 25 mins to get to the airport. Premier Inns advertise a lot on TV saying "from £29". I'm not sure what you have to do to pay only this as each time I have used them the price has been almost £60 a room. The room is clean and spacious. Thislatter is achieved partly by putting the sink in the bedroom which allows them to make the bathroom much smaller. The only trouble is, the towel rail is in the bathroom and there is nowhere to hang or put a towel by the sink. We had a pile of towels, no shortage, but somewhere to hook or hang a towel near the sink would have been useful. The shower is great, but a little niggle was that the soap dispenser was blocked and although there was plenty of liquid soap in it, it couldn't be got out. There were a couple of other little niggles too, one of the bedside lights didn't work and the curtains were so short that they let the morning light in all around. The TV is also very small for the size of the room. The bar and restaurant are OK but we felt ripped off over a breakfast coffee. We don't usually eat breakfast but have a coffee. There was no-one to work the coffee machine in the bar so an employee suggested we used the restaurant. We pointed out that we only wanted coffee and he said that was fine. We helped ourselves to one cup each from the machine but when we came to pay, they charged us for a continental breakfast each (£5.25). We argued that was steep for two cups of coffee but the employee wouldn't budge. We only realised afterwards we could have had a Grab and Go (croissant and coffee) for £2.95 so no idea why we were billed for continental breakfast.

Room Tip: Leave plenty of time to bus to the airport
