The hotel is very modern, at first the decor is a bit stark, lots of black white and red. Was not keen on the black corridors. Saying that the beds are so comfy, the sheets really soft and rooms have everything you need. We had a standard twin. it had two double beds! Big bathroom with separate bath / shower, big basin and plenty of space for toiletries. While the rooms are not the biggest they do have nice big windows that gives lots of natural light. The hotel is 2 mins walk to bars and restaurants of the northern quarter and 8 mins walk from the Arndale centre. 20 mins walk to Picadilly station. There is free Internet (standard speed) or you can pay for the super fast one. Overall this is a good choice if you want a modern 4star hotel in a good central location.

We stayed at the hotel this weekend and had a great stay.

The location is ideal being just a short walk into the town centre. The beds are fabulously comfortable.

We would recommend that you upgrade to the club rooms, as you get the use of the club lounge which is great. They have computers available for use and a printer, free drinks (non alcoholic), from 6pm they have free wine and beer served for a limited time (I think up to 8pm but not sure). Continental breakfast is also available in the lounge and is included in the price, plenty of choice, cereal, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, selection of croissants and patisseries, etc. Should you prefer a full breakfast for a supplement of £6 this is available in the main restaurant and is great, again plenty of choice.

The staff are really friendly and very helpful.

I stayed here with my teenage daughter for three nights over Easter. I picked this hotel after reading reviews, we wanted a hotel close to shops and city centre restaurants, cinema and easy to get to off the train. First appearances where not good as the hotel steps where covered in vomit and discarded butts, however once through the doors this was forgotten as we were quickly checked in. Our room had two double beds, there was ample space and it was nice to have a walk in shower rather than one over the bath. The beds where really comfy and this was one of the quietest hotels I have slept in. We were booked room only so cannot comment on breakfast but we did have room service one evening and the food was lovely. The shops are a few minutes walk away as is the buses if you want to go to Trafford Centre which is a must for shoppers of all ages. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit.

Clean room, a club deluxe. On 5th floor - priority club member floor. No real view. Room a bit small but very clean with a good bathroom. Nice floor to ceiling windows.Good KS bed. Looked at club room on 8th floor - not quite as smart but had a view. Being on 5th floor meant using the lift to go to the 8th floor lounge which was a pain - particularly as only 1 of the 2 lifts was working. Hotel full on a Sunday due to the Pink concert at the MEN noting the hotel is very well placed for easy access to the MEN. Bar was OK but drinks far too expensive. The prices can only be called a rip off, an annoying trend of some classier hotels. I just find it annoying. Club lounge continental breakfast a bit stingy and poor choice of wine in the evening (1 red and 1 white). Staff were very good. Parking easy to access opposite the hotel.

Stayed here for 1 night. Rooms smart & beds comfortable. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Location good for shopping. Breakfast was good, though they did keep running out of eggs, my friend waited, but eventually gave up. Valet parking was handy. Yes i would consider staying here again if i was visiting the city again.
