I've been a Manchester resident for over 10 years, yet had never visited here. My opportunity came, when some work colleagues were staying at the nearby Premier Inn.
It was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was busy (good sign). We had a pleasant welcome and were shown to our table.
The menu was huge... Far too many things on there. If I'm honest, I got bored reading.
To start, I went for the bread and olives, followed by chicken and spinach cannelloni.
The bread was poor. Stale and uninspiring and sprinkled with some parsley. The olives were fine.
Our main course was served quickly. Although, it was tasty, I didn't think there was enough filling in the pasta. I was left with a plate full of sauce.
We didn't have any desserts and the bill was £25 each, including drinks. For midweek in Manchester, this is on the expensive side.
