Just returned from a 1 night stay, with two children and a friend. We wanted to stay somewhere central. The apartment had everything u could need. The location is awesome, also very close to M&S for supplies. Only downside was the noise, due to being behind the Printworks, partygoers went on until earlier hours, from the back bedroom you couldn't hear anything and my ears were still ringing from the Justin Bieber concert so it didn't stop us sleeping. Already booked again for our next concert in June.

We stayed for 1 night as we attended a concert at the Men arena. Our apartment was amazing!!!!!. Very modern, very clean, great size and even our own pool table. could not have chosen a better location as these apartments are within 5 mins walking of everywhere we wanted to go. Would definately recommend them and will go back again next time in Manchester,

I stayed at the City stop apartments on a Tuesday evening. I was due to fly to Dubai the following morning. Unfortunately, behind the building was an insecure car park, which became the party area of youths, playing very loud music past 3am, smashing bottles, fighting and vomiting loudly. On phoning the staff to request security move them on; there was no help forthcoming as the noise was from outside the building.
I don't believe this to be an isolated incident as the parking area was secluded and obviously a well known haunt to the local youths.
I could never stay at this apartment again and would recommend ear plugs if you are to visit.

Room Tip: Avoid this accommodation or bring ear plugs that are comfortable to sleep with. The noise from youth...

Check in went smoothly, arrived early but we were given an apartment immediately. Very impressed with standard, good size kitchen, dining area and bedroom/bathroom, furnished nicely. It felt like a treat as we would normally just stay in a hotel for one night but it was nice to have so much space. Didnt have any issues with noise from the Printworks at all. Also thought the security guard on the door at night was a good idea.

My accommodation here was spacious, clean and very comfortable and a highly recommend it for either business or tourism trips to Manchester. It looked either very new (though situated in a beautiful old red brick building) or had recently been refurbished. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Decent wifi.

The one issue I had (faulty shower screen) was sorted immediately by maintenance. Cleaning was a military operation by three men - their battle-axe supervisor inspected proceedings and checked to make sure I was happy. Better than a hotel!

Grocery shops are nearby, the Arndale is just round the corner and there is an entertainment area called the Printworks directly opposite. That did get a bit loud late at night but I could only hear it from the living room, not the bedroom. Check with City Stop if you think this might be an issue, I am sure they will help in terms of room choices.

Entry is by key card and taxis are everywhere in Manchester - but there is a rank nearby. It's said that the hot water takes a while to heat in some rooms - I did not find this to be the case.

Worth booking if you want something slightly different to a hotel, but still very central.

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for a weekend just before new years. It is in great location right in the central in town, walking distance from Arndale shopping centre and very secure too. The 2 bed apartment we stayed in was very clean and very well equipped.
The only downside would be car parking as we ended up paying £15 a night for parking in the NCP car park nearby. Otherwise I would have no problems returning here.

We arrived boxing day at 5pm and could not gain entry to the apartments, they can only be entered when entering a code, of which we obviously didn't have. Waited outside for a number of minutes until someone left the apartments and left the door open for us. When inside, reception was closed, no sign of anyone. I rang the emergency helpline number to be given instructions over the phone as to where abouts my key was. Giving me no time to ask any questions.got to the room on the 3rd floor, apartment for 4 people was clean and spacious, but freezing cold, the heaters weren't on and one of them in the bedroom didn't work, neither did the towel rain in the bathroom.
The beds were comfortable but after a long day travelling we went to bed around 11pm. Big mistake the noise from above rooms and the rooms opposite seemed to get louder as the night went on. Shouting in the corridor, stamping and jumping around in the rooms Bove, it became clear at 2am we weren't getting much sleep.
By 3am the noise was beyond bearable with a group of 6 lads outside our room shouting abuse and banging on the door of the room opposite. Conversations between around 6 people carried on until around 7am loud shouting and stamping of feet, with no consideration what so ever for Nyone else in the building. We were tempted to go out and ask then to keep the noise down but found the young men intimidating as they had clearly had way too much to drink.
We packed up our belongings after another hour of trying to sleep, and checked out.
These apartments only seem to be occupied by young people under 25 looking to party all night with no consideration for others, we went as a family for a treat after seeing Manchester united, but this ruined our day and today we are exhausted.
If u plan on sleeping in this apartment, book somewhere else!!!!!

Room Tip: Try the stay, anchester apartments where security are on hand for any trouble throughout the night
