Had booked 3 apartments in this block from the same agent. We arrived all 15 of us including 6 infants. Previously having booked through TA and Airbnb before the arrangement in the past is that I've phoned the person you have been communicating with by email on arrival. They then either meet you at the address or give you the details of how to gain access to the property over the phone. In this instance there was no communication either by email or by phone, as there was no reply when we phoned. We were stranded! Imagine being stuck in a bustling area of a city with babies who needed feeding with destitute people hovering around you, in 4 vehicles parked in loading only bays!
We eventually managed to get through after a frantic hour or so and was told that a email had been sent the previous day. No such email had been sent. We were asked if we could remember the numbers of the apartments we had rented and luckily I did remember one of the numbers. We were then given a code to the building and one apartment to much relief and eventually received a text with the codes to the other two apartments.
I have no complaints about the apartments themselves; clean, comfortable, nice bedding and towels. I just want to warn others of the problem with access which marred the whole experience.
