We have always rated this the best Thai restaurant in the Manchester region and frequented many times over the years. Visited with friends on the 7th December....meal fantastic as usual. Had booked for lunch for my friends birthday on the 22nd December and the occasion was spoilt by the quality of the food. Starter was fantastic . we then had grilled sea bass [in banana leaves] and a chicken & cashew dish [this chicken dish we had on the 7th enjoyed so much we took again this time]. The sea bass we have had there on previous visits also always enjoyed. This time the sea bass was not only grilled but nearly crucified. Then unfortunately the chicken dish was stone cold. Called the waitress over who asked 'did we want the dish reheated' ! Mmm nice... a stir fry dish reheated I don't think so thank you. She called for the manager who was very professional and organised another fresh chicken dish. She also asked if we wished to have another sea bass which we declined. She allowed £6.38 off the bill against the sea bas which was I suppose a decent gesture of apology but the money was not the issue just the occasion being spoilt which cannot be recaptured. Maybe for future we should only visit in the evening if just down to lunchtime kitchen staff. Will try again but will not hurry back.
