Beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds - clean, cosy and in a perfect position. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within a few minutes walking distance. Food locally was excellent, in particular The Eight Bells, Lygon Arms Hotel and Noel Arms Hotel. We had a lovely Christmas week with our Christmas dinner at the Cotswold House Hotel and Spa. Everything was perfect including 4 inches of snow a couple of days after Christmas! Our thanks to Rebecca for the Christmas tree and other decorations plus the mince pies. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
This was our second visit to Perton Cottage and was every bit as welcoming and cosy as our first. We are regular visitors to this part of the country and if staying in Chipping Campden always first try for this cottage. Unfortunately we are often unlucky as we are not the only one who think this way which is no surprise. The location is fab and Becky the owner a delight to deal with.
We enjoyed our stay at Perton Cottage. Location was ideal for visiting the area, centrally located in Chipping Campden. Lots of shops, pubs, and historical sites. Recommended location for exploring Cotswolds.
Chipping Camden is a great place in itself and there's loads of restaurants and pubs. The cottage had everything we needed, it was warm and comfortable and the cake left by the owner to welcome us was lovely.
Our family stayed at this cottage for three nights. It was very roomy and comfortable for the three of us. The bathrooms are nice and new. The garden in the back is very cute. Right on the high street with short walking distance to the market, shops, restaurants, and footpaths. The English summer weather can be cold and raining, but often with a nice break for part of the day. To be right in the middle of the beautiful Cotswold makes it much easy to go to places whenever the rain stops:-). Becky is very easy to work with. Prompt through email. Refunded our deposit within days of our departure.
Family of 4 with teen girls found perfect home base for exploring Cotswolds. Becky (owner) went out of her way to help with our food allergy. Fairy tale garden in back, but we were visiting during unusual rainy weather. Found cozy comfort in living room, and able to eat well with well equipped kitchen. Close enough to explore all of Cotswolds, but Chipping Campden has enough shops to explore on its own. (Full grocery store about 20 minute drive away.) 2 baths also perfect for family with teens.
Chipping Campden was beautiful and the cottage was lovely and cozy and very clean. Becky supplied a lovely cake and milk and even some flowers to make us feel really welcome. The cottage was in a great location and was in easy walking distance to plenty of places to eat all of which were to a high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage for a holiday.
