“Best Scones Ever!”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

If a cream tea is something you crave this is the place to visit. All the cakes look lovely but the scones are out of this world, large & light with a crunchy edge. You will not be disappointed.
Can't wait to return!

Karen and Paul are brilliant hosts who make you feel really welcome. the staff are very friendly too. If you enjoy gorgeous home made cakes not to mention the wonderful breakfasts
You will not be disappointed.

This was our second stay at Badger's Hall in ChippingCamden and no doubt there will be
Others. the only downside is the increased waistline. So it's back to the gym!

My husand and I were looking for a few days break on our own before our impending new arrival. Badgers Hall was perfect. We stayed for three nights and thoroughtly enjoyed ourselves. The property itself is beautiful and very traditional with lots of exposed beams and stonework. The tea room is by far the nicest I've ever visited and even on our trips to various villages around the area we didn't come across a tea room that came close. We thoroughly enjoyed tea and cakes at Badger's Hall all baked fresh every day by Paul. A couple of times Paul greeted us at breakfast with hands covered in cake mix! The breakfasts were fab, plenty of choice and a scrumptious cooked breakfast, again cooked to perfection by Paul.

Our bedroom was large, extremely pretty, traditional and meticulously clean.

This B&B is a lovely place, in a beautiful setting and Karen and Paul are extremely friendly and helpful. If you decide to go for a break in this part of the Cotswolds then Badger's Hall is the place to be. Even if you don't stay here then make sure you drop by and visit the tea room for the lovely atmosphere, fab tea, cakes and other 'eats' that may take your fancy.

I have scored 4 for sleep quality but this is only because of the creaky floor boards in the room above us and really is to be expected when staying in an old building. The bed was lovely and comfortable with plenty of linen and pillows.

We stayed for 2 nights in the first floor room. The room was a really good size, with a lovely view across the high street and oaked beams. It looked much better than the photos! The breakfast was really really good, there was unlimited fresh fruit salad, cereal, toast and a tailor made cooked breakfast from paul (the only problem was finding space for it all). We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

My Husband booked us a weekend away (Sat/Sun) at Badgers Hall. We have stayed here previously so knew what to expect. Karen & Paul are very welcoming hosts, coupled with a very warm and cosy atmosphere in the B&B/Tea Room made it a wonderful get-away.
Our room was on the top floor and this made it very private. Comfortable bed, great facilities & shower room. Yes the floorboards creak and there are low beams but this all adds to the atmosphere in this lovely old house. Paul's breakfasts are superb - we think the best we've ever had in a B&B. Lunches and Cakes were also excellent and all freshly made. We ate at the Eight Bells Pub one night and the Noel Arms on the other, both excellent meals and we left very full up! We took a bottle of wine to our room and there are glasses/bottle opener/dvd available for a relaxing night! We had a lovely time and will definately return again.

Room Tip: The top floor room with ensuite is private and secluded (Room). There were no guests in the room nex...

We stayed at Badgers Hall early fall 2011. If you like traditional English country feel, this is a perfect place...Timbered walls, rusting warm English feel. Great morning breakfast and the hosts were very helpful and polite. Chipping Campden is a quiet town in the Cotswolds full of charm and a great base stay for exploration. Would love to return someday.
