“Quirky deli/cafe...we need more of these!”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

Excellent food, homemade and fresh, highly recommend the soup and deli special sandwich. This place knows what its about, good menu but not over ambitious, friendly, efficient staff. Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, old pews and tables and chairs and bits and bobs around the walls to look at and enjoy while waiting for your meal. Quiet music in the background. Deli products to take home, particularly liked the Oxford Blue cheese.Try it you will not be disappointed.

“A friendly and welcoming cafe”
Reviewed April 1, 2013 via mobile

Having just stopped in Chipping Camden for the Easter weekend, we stumbled across the Campden Pantry and were really impressed. A small and really relaxed cafe with friendly staff, excellent coffee and freshly prepared food. Combining a deli and cafe, it would be easy to miss from the main street but is well worth looking out for. Even has free wifi - you just need to ask for the code. In fact, we liked it so much we've just called back a second time for before returning to London!

“Small but mighty”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

We popped in for lunch on a very rainy March weekday, and were richly rewarded by excellent food, prepared with care, and served with simple, friendly efficiency. It's a familiar concept: soups, salads, sandwiches, cold drinks from a display fridge (and wine if you wish). Just find a table (not difficult, as there are but half a dozen indoors, and the handful in the outdoor court hardly fit a cold rainy day), order at the minuscule counter, and await the treasures. One of us had a "Scotch egg ploughman's" that was lovingly done in a light pate crust and surrounded by a generous chunk of Cheddar, tomato wedge, greens and three hunks of lovely fresh, crusty, grain bread. The other enjoyed a gorgeous, golden panini of mozzarella, basil, and sun-dried tomato. It was so generous, half of the panini went home with us in a sack for the next day's lunch. All this for a mere seven quid apiece, including a shared lemonade -- and they do take-away. A newish place, this, but they'll surely prosper.

“Great Cakes”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

Had afternoon tea today at this great liitle deli/cafe....we all had different cakes and the waitress even asked us to let them know which one we liked best...hence lots of tasting each others went on! Trouble was they were all so good...chocolate brownie, plum sponge cake and blueberry cake...all tasted very fresh and definately homemade.
The lunch menu looked equally good too....definately be going back. If in Campden don't bother looking elsewhere.
