Any time of year, this garden is worth a visit, as there is always something to see which will ease the worries of the day.

Arriving in October, even on the glorious day that we had, was never to see the garden at is optimum, but any time of year, this is well worth going to, particularly as NT members.

Ok, I am biased because my wife and I are seriously into gardening. Even if you're not into gardening, the place is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. If you are into gardening, this place is a paradise, a spectacular collection of garden "rooms". We went the first day of October and were still blown away. I can't imagine what it's like in late spring/early summer. Gardening experts consider Hidcote among the best in England. We watched a program on BBC about Hidcote the day after we went (unplanned). Not to be missed.

We cycled here from Camden. They have cycle racks which pleased us and we soon went into the most sublime garden we had ever seen. Acres and acres of utter beauty.

We thought it would only take an hour or so to go round it but leave yourself at least half a day or longer.

The problem we have now is that when we see gardens they don't come up to the treasure of Hidcote Manor. If there is any garden you wish to see make it Hidcote Manor. It can't be bettered.

Our first English Garden! There were four of us visiting, and it was so vast, several times we lost each other for stretches of time. We thought that this time of year, the flowers would be "done", but there were plenty showing off, so we weren't disappointed! We were extremely impressed and hope to go again sometime!
