“Great Location / Lush food / Hotel 4/5 could be better”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary 5th May.
The food was lush, my husband had a curry which he said was lovely. The meal was outstanding (but you do pay alot of money for it). The breakfast was lovely too. Service was excellent.

Negatives , No Free Wi-fi in rooms / not exactly lots of parking - we were afraid to go out and lose our space / no sky channels & no clock in room !!!!!

Room was small and furniture bit dated/poor and uncomfortable bed.

Thank You so much for your kind comments and for visiting, we are delighted loved the food, the comment about it being expensive did surprise us as our main courses are amongst the least expensive in the whole town, the Noel Arms has a huge amount of repeat guests and we would be delighted if you became one of them, we will look closely at your negatives and will do our very best to improve on these areas, we do look forward to welcoming you back please do call us direct for the best possible rate.
NOTE TO OTHER TRIP ADVISOR READERS/ POTENTIAL FUTURE GUESTS, should you require Spa Treatments the spa does get booked up well in advance so to make the most of your stay do ask about the spa when calling to book your room.

This is a charming old hotel with a surprisingly large room, that was clean and inviting, very good value for the cost. This is an ideal hotel for those walking the Cotswold Way, the marker signifying the start, or end, of the walk is across the street. The staff was friendly, helpful and answered our many questions as we prepared to begin our hike. We had dinner at the hotel as well, the food was well prepared and served, and it was reasonably priced. This hotel is highly recommended, especially for those walking the Cotswold Way given its ideal location.

Wanted a break so got a good deal to stay here. Hotel very pleasant, the staff were friendly. Room very nice and clean. Went to the spa over the road, which was a very relaxing pool and steam room. Enjoyed it and after went to the sister hotel next to the spa for a drink in the lovely gardens. We had good weather which I supposed added to the experience.
Had a cream tea also delicious, the best I think was the evening meal it was excellant. Mind you we enjoyed the breakfast too. Would definately go back, may try one of there special food evenings.

Have just come back from Chippng Campden where we had afternoon tea at the Noel Arms, just wanted to say that from the moment we went in and spoke to their receiption to ask where we should go, - as there seemed to be numerous bars, - we were treated to amazing service, the receptionist took us through to the conservatory where she brought another member of staff to look after us and we had a really lovely afternoon tea. Could not recomend this place enough.

Room Tip: we had booked, I dont know whether this is necessary but in the tourist season it might be worthwhil...

We stayed at this hotel in January just after the snow and we took our lovely retired guide dog called Jangle and we had a fantastic two day stay. Chipping Cambden is beautiful and the buildings are stunning with lovely walks nearby. We ate in the bar at the hotel as that area was dog friendly and the food was amazing with a large selection and all quite reasonably priced. We had a lovely afternoon tea in the bar area and copious amounts of their lovely coffee. Well done to the Noel Arms you certainly have left us with a memorable weekend in the Cotswolds. Thank you

Room Tip: Parking was easy at the rear of the hotel and our room was large and beautifully decorated in keepi...

WOOF!!!! Hello Jangle!!!! The bar is dog friendly and in fact is very popular with hotel residents and locals popping in for a pint who also bring their dogs along, we have 3 food areas two where we cant permit dogs and one that does so we aim to accommodate all, Thank You so much for your kind comments and for visiting, the Noel Arms has a huge amount of repeat guests and we do hope you and Jangle become part of our return guest family, we do look forward to welcoming you back please do call us direct for the best possible rate.

We stayed on a Groupon deal and had read the very positive reviews of the hotel; we weren't disappointed! We stayed for one night. On arrival, the receptionist was really lovely, showed us up to our room which was more than sufficient. The deal included a cream tea in the coffee shop in the hotel, all very nice. We then had two hours in the award winning spa and were given a goody bag of cream, bubble bath etc as part of the Groupon deal. Dinner was also very nice as was the breakfast the next morning. I can't say anything negative about the hotel; it was a lovely venue for a get-a-way for my husband and I without the kids.

Room Tip: Room 15 overlooked the courtyard, very quiet apart from the birds tweeting at dawn! Use the blinds i...

We knew there were a few nice places to eat in Chipping Campden, but we tried this venue as our first port of call. Given the most friendly welcome we were sold. The rest of the experience didn't disappoint. Cozy environment which you don't want to leave. Knowledgeable staff and great food. Persuaded to have the curry - amazing! Another visit is on the agenda when next in the area
