Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the Charingworth Manor for the most fantastic wedding day. Everything was exactly how we wanted it. The hotel has the most amazing feel about it and we managed to get some wonderful pictures outside. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was The Ebrington Suite which we were thought was the most romantic room we had ever seen!!!
Big thank you to everyone at The Charingworth for making our day so very special.

Room Tip: Ebrington Suite if you want to celebrate a very special occasion.

We have stayed at the hotel a few times and we remain delighted with all that the hotel offers.
Comfort ,ambience ,service and of course the location.
We must mention the exceptionally helpful Robert who greeted us in reception upon our arrival.
The staff at this hotel are second to none !
Although we had a delicious meal in the restaurant on our first evening ,we chose to eat at the Ebrington Arms ,a local pub on the second night because the restaurant menu choices were rather rich for our taste on this occasion

This hotel could quite possibly be held up as an example of good practice in the hospitality
business!,

This hotel was the venue for our daughters wedding reception four years ago when again we received terrific service and excellent organisation .

There is much to see in this delightful area of the country and Charingworth Manor is an excellent base .

This hotel's greatest asset is the restaurant, the food was divine and the service excellent. I would advise taking up one of the offers where the evening meal is included with the room cost.
Our room was a good size and the bathroom had a separate bath and shower. The bed was firmer than I would like, but that is just personal preference.
The swimming pool is a nice addition, the décor is a little tired and not all the lockers were working, but the water was nicely heated.
Overall an enjoyable night away.

The room, the hotel, the staff, the food and the surroundings were great we had a lovely time - BUT ... we used their swimming pool and after changing into our swimwear - so kind of trapped we were faced with 7 or so youths that were drunk and charging around the pool and shouting obscenities. This was terrible. When my partner confronted them they threatened to smash a bottle over his head !! We understand they were not staying at the hotel but had all entered from a side door and were local kids ( aged around 16-18 ) We really did not expect this from such a great hotel. The receptionist seemed at a loss for what to do. What a shame that this bizarre incident ruined stay that would have been perfect. As we booked this place for the pool we wouldn't go again, which is a shame.

Room Tip: in the main house

Dear Guests

Firstly let me apologise that the behaviour of others somewhat marred you stay, we do have a key entry into the pool area and after investigation I believe the people involved were actually part of a family group we had staying in the hotel and were shortly after the incident asked to leave the pool and then departed from the hotel

Thank you for your kind comments about other aspects of your stay and I will share these with the team here at the hotel.

We do hope to be able to welcome you back in the future and please don’t hesitate to contact me if can help with any future reservations

17 members of our family celebrated my birthday at this hotel.
We found the surroundings very comfortable and relaxing. The food was excellent and well presented.(I wish I knew the chef's recipe for the braised beef, delicious).
Also the leisure facilities for the younger members were very welcome and well used.
Just one concern, two of our party were kept awake by creaking floorboards from the room above. Apart from that it was a wonderful weekend and we would love to return.

Room Tip: Try not to choose a room with one above.

Spent 3 nights here for our anniversary. Loved every minute of it. We stayed in the Eliot Suite which was fabulous and we slept really well. We ate at the restaurant on 2 nights. I highly recommend the cheese soufflé. And the rhubarb and custard crime brûlée! Lovely service, with a special mention to Oliver. If you are thinking of going to Charingworth......go!

Great afternoon tea, served by the Lovely Oliver( good luck with your studies at Birmingham) Rick thank you for accommodating us at fairly short notice. Lovely warm scones and superb ginger cake, Would have liked roast beef sandwiches but my girls were happy with their cucumber ones, we sahll definitely be back.
