Description: Our extensive Menu is packed with delicious pub classics as well as a traditional carvery, served daily, which boasts a fantastic choice of fresh seasonal vegetables, our signature flavoured potatoes and succulent roasted meat joints. We believe we have a great value offering with wide appeal Too full after your meal? Why not take a slice of cake home from our famous Cakeaway cabinet to enjoy whenever you like. Our cakes are homemade on site and are guaranteed to be the most amazing cakes you will ever see. Bookings can be taken Monday to Saturday online through our website. Whilst we serve very generous portions of good quality food and also operate a carvery within the restaurant, we are keen not to forget our drinking customers and have a large open bar, plus outdoor terrace areas. With families in mind we have also incorporated a kid's play area into the family dining area, which is proving to be a big hit with our younger customers.

Use this restaurant maybe once a month, today was poor, ordered chicken tikka it turned up hardly warm, told waitress who took it back to re heat, she returned it in due course, found meal tasteless, bland with hardly any taste. When waitress returned to collect plates etc told her, her reply
" ok I will tell chef"

End of story no apology, very poor.

Midday lunch was good, we called back later for one of their desserts, nice but very gooey and sickly... cream in the profiteroles was off so had to have a refund.. how can you take out sour cream and put fresh cream in without leaving some of the old cream in.... impossible

A pleasant looking place that appears to be family friendly.

Lots of people appeared to be going for the carvary. I opted for the cauliflower cheese tart. I assume by the texture of the pastry that this had been nuked, I was hungry so ate it. It wasn't the tastiest of dishes. The chips weren't that better either.

I have to say the service was excellent. In no way could I fault the friendly staff, they were polite and made you feel like they genuinely cared for customers.

I couldn't be bothered to complain about the food as I just wanted to get out of the place before the quiz started.

Very busy but average food.
Good for the 3s and 5 year old that were with us.
A bit of a mixup with our meals but having said that it is value for money without being memorable

Thank brian r
