Okay it’s not 5 star but nor does it claim to be. Room was clean and well presented, shower pressure very poor. This has been reported and they assure me this will be rectified. Food was above average hence my rating but not outstanding. I did enjoy the starter which was garlic bread with prosciutto rocket and mozzarella. Tasted freshly made and was very flavoursome. The main was ample but I did find it heavy on the sauce and I would have served it with some crusty bread to complete it. Both off the specials menu and under £20 so not expensive. Have stayed here before and will stay again as the location is easy to get to.

Stay one night when travelling to the South of England. very warm welcome from reception. even asked which part of the hotel we would like.
Very close to A1 M but there was no noise from the motorway.
Clean comfortable room. Bar staff very nice.
Building and grounds well kept.

Chose this hotel as it’s one with a gym ( which in itself is pretty good)

The room I was given was very small, wall paper hanging off, paint peeling, mound round the windows, loose hand rail with rust stains running down the wall, water constantly flowing out of the bath overflow ( not sure how that was happening!!!!!)
very dated and extremely poor.

In the bar I ordered food, a starter and main course..... then they both came out
together!!

If it wasn’t for the gym it would have got one mark!!
Won’t be going back there!!!

Spent a night at this hotel as it’s only 10 mins from Doncaster Airport, the staff here are very friendly and efficient and couldn’t do enough for you, hotel is clean and tidy and in a very convenient place near the A1, look forward to staying here again.
