Travelling alone as a woman can have its drawbacks but there were absolutely none with my visit to Premier Doncaster Lakeside. A short taxi ride from the train station and situated right next door to Lakeside Retail Outlet make my business trip one of pleasure as well. The Beefeater next door provided a wonderful evening meal and even had a value menu for £10.99 for 2 courses. The staff both in the hotel and restaurant - absolutely wonderful, warm, friendly and extremely professional. This will be my first choice when I have to travel to this area again.

Staff were lovely when we arrived and room was of the normal high standard in Premier Inn's. We ate next door and the food was great. Breakfast was fine. Such a bargain staying here would always use it again.

Room Tip: Food good at attached pub/restaurant

We stayed whilst visiting family before Christmas. The room was excellent - same as all Premier Inns which is really nice when you just want somewhere to sleep. There are no surprises or time wasted trying to work out how the room is organised!

It was well-designed, clean and spacious. The shower-room was excellent as well. Yes, you only get the wall-mounted shower gel/shampoo all-in-one affair, but it's fine for one night.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

No complaints - we'll use it again when we visit our family in Doncaster.

Having spent a full day at Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield, and needing some quality rest before a planned day at Lakeside Factory Outlets, the Lakeside Premier Inn was just the job.

Accomodation can be difficult for two parents and a 15 year old daughter but Premier offered a family room with ample space and a proper bed for the 15 year old. Their promise of a good nights sleep is assured.

The only downsides were a lack of loo roll and no shower gel in the provided container on arrival, but then you only have to ask. Also the receptionist claimed the digital switchover had just occurred and the televisions were playing up - we had no TV during the stay so if that's important do check first.

The Beafeater next door served us well for a very filling evening meal, and with good service. Just what i needed to recover from a full day as "official bag carrier" knowing that i would have to do the same thing the following day as it is sited just yards from the Lakside outlets. If you fancied something else within view is a pizza hut, KFC and McDonalds.

Not the cheapest Premier Inn but then again it was fairly last minute and did sleep three of us so good value all things considered.

We stayed for one night in room 6 on 26th June. Quiet clean, comfortable usual Premier Inn value for money. Adjacent restaurant was nice as well.

We stayed at this Premier Inn just as a stop over and were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. For a budget hotel we obviously didn't expect the Ritz but we were greeted in a friendly reception area and checked in quickly. The room was large and modern looking with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was alsio very nice and both rooms were SPOTLESSLY clean. (I actually went looking for any traces of grime but couldn't find anything - and from me that IS a compliment!!) Window opened and closed nicely and could see our car just outside. It was exeptionally hot that night (which couldn't be helped) but they had kindly provided fans for our use.
The adjoining beefeater pub was nice although I had to send my meal backl as it hadn't been fully microwaved! Other that that no complaints at all. It makes the Travelodge we stayed in recently look like Fawlty Towers! Excellent value, easy location to get to, would highly recommend.
