Description: A stylish, contemporary Indian Restaurant serving authentic Indian & Bengali cuisine. Great service with friendly, yet attentive staff. Expertly cooked, tasty food from Abdul and his brigade of chefs. The menu offers a wide choice and the pricing represents extremely good value for money. Booking is recommended as space is limited and the Restaurant is busy on many evenings, especially weekends and on the two 'Feast Nights', Thursday & Sunday. Takeaway service includes Collection, which commands a 10% reduction, and a Delivery service to Edlington and many other local areas including Balby, Warmsworth, Conisbrough, Sprotbrough, Maltby and Wadworth.

Our first visit to Nur did not dissapoint. The food was tasty and portions ample. Our children were welcomed and accomodated. The decor is clean and fresh.
Excellent value for money, the service was both super and friendly. Highest recommendation for a super little local restaurant !!!

Quite simply the best indian take away in Doncaster if you are a curry fan, without question!
The food is second to none, cooked exactly as you like everytime, the guys quite simply never seem to disappoint with quality, service and they always make you feel extremely welcome without being in your face!
I pass 2 other curry houses to get to this one and it is well worth it.
You also have the optnion to eat in, although relatively small and no alcohol license, (dont let this put you off, as you can take your own if eating in) its a fantastic atmosphere and we always have a great laugh, even when collecting a take away the banter is all part of the experience.
I look forward to going every week, highly recommended.

Love love love this curry house. You can eat in or order takeaway. If you decide to eat in you can take your own beer, which the staff place in fridge for you. The staff are so friendly and funny which compliments the amazing curries that they produce. Would suggest to everyone to check this place out. In my experience this is probably the best in Doncaster. Prices are great too... Sunday & Thursday they have deals on which are excellent value for money.

We regularly order deliveries from Nur but have only eaten in there twice. Tonight it was a family party of 11 of us & it couldn't have been nicer. Sunday nights are feast nights here so for £9.50 per person you can order poppadoms & pickles, any starter, any main course & any rice or naan (other than the humongous family naan), so you really can't go wrong.
The service is not the quickest in the world, but who cares? You bring your own booze so you know they aren't trying to slow things down so you'll order another round, like many restaurants do. Whilst it's not quick, it's very friendly & the staff really do look after you.
All 11 of us, from the English food only eater to the we-like-it-hot brigade really enjoyed every bit of our meals. It's not a big place - probably only seats 35-40 people so it might be best to book, especially on a weekend. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Always make sure you order the Madras rice, it's my favourite rice dish from any restaurant ever - and that includes those on Manchester's curry mile. Just try it, I doubt you'll be disappointed!

We have been here a couple of times and each time we love it even more. The resturant itself is small only seating a small number of people but is always full so a reservation is a must. Due to the small number of tables and the small size the noise of people talking while slightly loud is very welcoming and gives a friendly environment. We where told about this resturant by by a family friend and as such where invited out to eat with them. The staff knew them by name as we arrived and welcomed us with smiles. The resturant has no licence so cannot sell alcohol but does have a small choice of fizzy and soft drinks. The resturant welcomes you to take your own drink, and if you run out there is a Co-op next door and a small tesco that is open late to top yourslef up. Taking your own alcohol can make it into a cheap night especially when coupled with the buffet option. 1 starter, 1 main, and 1 rice or Naan bread for £9.80 or thereabouts. And if you want a naan aswell as a rice it isn't that much more to order both. Be warned with the family naan, it really is for a family, it is absolutly huge. If you go here you will definatly go back. Enjoy
