Chanced upon this little gem of a place on a Wednesday evening at about 8 pm. The restaurant was empty so there was little atmosphere, although there was background Indian music playing. Takeaways were being taken out of the door for delivery so we decided to give it a try. We were welcomed as we entered and shown straight to a table. Our drinks order was taken and a few minutes after they had been served to us the waiter came over to take our food order. Starters maybe took a little longer to arrive than one might expect on a quiet night but we were in no rush so it did not matter. The waiter did apologise for the delay and very soon after they arrived. Maybe a little small in size but nevertheless very tasty and a good start to our meal. For main courses we each selected one of the house specialities. These were of good size and were exceptionally tasty and spiced exactly in accordance with the menu description. The restaurant is contemporary in design with a capacity for about 50. Surroundings are clean and bright, and the table linen and cutlery were clean and in good condition.Prices are very reasonable. Staff are very friendly and keen to ensure that you are enjoying your meal. We will definitely return.
