“Clean tidy and quiet location on the lake - super staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for 3 nights in February on business. Party of 5 travelled for a work event in Doncaster. Very clean and well presented hotel no gripes or complaints whatsoever.

Staff were very helpful at all times and always cheerful - 10/10 for staff

We ate across at the adjacent restaurant each night and found the staff there to be superb - food was reasonable (typical pub grub with a theme most nights ie Mexican, pie night, curry etc) and appeared to always be busy and popular with the locals

It also has a huge childrens soft play if you are travelling with kids FYI

Breakfast was always a highlight - cannot recommend a full English here more highly

Only small gripe was trying to navigate the car park - it's quite awkward to get to the hotel from the main road and once you've found your turning the car park is a very strange design lol

Overall though I know we all enjoyed our stay

Ideal situation. Within easy reach of the M18. Conveniently located for Doncaster train station. Near Doncaster Racecourse, Doncaster Leisure Dome and Keepmoat football stadium. Situated on Doncaster leisure park with a cinema and bowling alley just a short walk from the hotel.
Comfortable rooms. Again very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal base for watching Pompey v Doncaster and a 1-1 draw, so everyone happy!

Located on a retail park, with the Dome and Racecourse nearby, this hotel is easily accessible by road, and good bus links are available close-by.
Great staff, all very friendly. Rooms are plain, but a decent size, with very comfortable bed, good sized desk, and an armchair. Small television but offered a good range of channels. All very clean. Thick blackout curtains and no external noise meant a great sleep. Rooms at the rear of the hotel offer a view over the lake – certainly beats a view over the car park at the front.
Bathroom also a good size, with shower over bath. Again spotlessly clean.
Bar / restaurant available next door (a Brewers Fayre) – offered a good selection of typical pub meals.
Around £70 for a flexible rate is reasonable value. Would highly recommend, especially if you can get a £29 promotional rate.

First class hotel and staff .Breakfast was brilliant and plentiful offered more but could not manage.Very close to race track ideal location for the racetrack. On arrival we were greeted by a cheerful lady who made us most welcome and aware of everything we required location and where to eat .We will definetly return in the future could not have asked for better from a budget hotel such friendly staff in Restraunt next door made our stay great.Good selection of food and most important beer at affordable prices(no sky sports) .The Dome is only a few minutes away with Sky sports and a lovely pool.

Room Tip: Rooms were fine upstairs is only one flight .

Whilst not the most up to date of their type, this was a pretty decent stay - comfortable, clean and quiet.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast up to the usual competent (if not haute cuisine) standard. Wish they'd drop Costa coffee in preference for something that tastes of something, but hey you can't have it all, can you?

A good value stay and perfect for business!

VERY comfortable, asked for a quite room overlooking the lake. Pleasure to wake up to the view. Staff very friendly. Have stayed here before. Shopping fab! everything you need within walking distance. Lovley walk around the lakes. Shower needed attention ,my only fault i could find.
Brewers Fayre: Food ok Service not too good forgot about us..

Room Tip: Ask for quite room, the lake view, 2nd floor

I often stay in Premier Inns for both business and holiday travel. You know exactly what you will find and often at a competitive price.
This location is no exception. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and in a great location not far from the motorway with ample free parking .

Meals are taken in the Brewers Fayre next door which was ok for breakfast but very crowded on the Saturday evening. My personal preference would always for a restaurant in the hotel but thats just me!.

Room Tip: we were on the 2nd floor facing the front which was very quiet.
