“Consistently good quality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2012

A lovely tea room where you are served wonderful food in very pleasant surroundings. Generous portions and served to a high standard. Popular with 'ladies that lunch'. Worth booking a table as quite often a queue during the lunchtime slot.
Never disappoints

“A Haven in Doncasters busy streets”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

We went Christmas Shopping last week to Doncaster,my friend recommended the tea rooms last year but we didn't have time so this year made sure we did.
We had a bowl of mushroom soup each with a whole granary baguette & ample amounts of butter in little packets, the soup was so filling & wonderfully warming. We had no room for a main course but did manage a sweet,my husband had the berry crumble with custard,I had lemon bakewell with custard, all homemade,we had a pot of tea for 2 which came in seperate little pots with a jug of water, easily 3 refills each.It was "proper tea" not teabags, there was a tea strainer so no chance of getting tea leaves in the drink.
To sum up this establishment in my opinion it is the best there is in Doncaster, bit off the main shopping area but well worth the effort, would highly recommend a visit
