Choice of refreshments limited to sweets and choclates. Small popcorn £4.50 small soft drink £ 3. 50. The lighting was poor l had difficulty finding my seat number. Much more expensive than the Odeon.

We looked for the earliest time screening for Annabelle due to work next day and found this cinema to have it early around 7pm.

It’s a giant cinema with plenty of parking and lots of chain restaurants around which is great. Through the main entrance it’s inviting and the place looks big and exciting with lots around including the ben and Jerrys station.

Point to note there are 2 automated self serve machines however the are located at the back exit end and we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t ask the staff. Either bring them forward or put some signs up. The coke tasted abit weird however the nachos size and 3dips were value for money compared to VUE, the jalapeños were not as good as it was too soggy.

The cinema seats could do with an upgrade as they were very squeaky and during a movie it can be annoying when people get up and move off the seats. Prices are the standard here. First time visiting Showcase and it wont be the last however upgrade the place as for the same price you can get alot better at Odeon max in Birmingham.

Very helpful staff at this venue, but, the inside of the cinema , ie seating screen size very disappointing.
This cinema is in need of an upgrade to accepted standards although the foyer is quite acceptable.
I was personally in "Screen 2" and found the seating very uncomfortable and almost from the 60s ( as i remember).
Compared with other cinema's in the area on a scale of 1-10 i would rate this ( on my visit) about 4 at best.

More expensive than some other local cinemas but just usual cinema prices. My daughter was scared of the dark and changed her mind before the film started and they refunded her ticket which was nice. Plenty of choice for snacks.
