I chanced on this with my two daughters (aged 13 and 10) when visiting the Black Country Living Museum.
The tour guide and boat driver, Roy, was excellent. He had a real passion for the tunnels and the limestone mines. He gave us tips on when to get the best photos.
Overall, we enjoyed the experience, however, on a cold day we got wet (due to drips from the tunnel ceiling) and therefore we became quite cold. We would recommend wearing some waterproof clothing and/or going on a warm day!
