You can always rely on a Premier Inn for a good night sleep and great value for money. The Lancaster Premier Inn fits the bill. We had a great stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though even with the fan, I imagine the rooms being quite warm during the summer. It was fine while we were there so I can’t comment for sure.
The room was very quiet and we had a great sleep. The hotel is about five minutes away from
Lancaster City Centre in a taxi and costs just over £5. It is also a short walk from The Lancaster Canal and Lune Aquaduct which is well worth a visit.
We chose to eat the the Brewers Fayer one night but thought it expensive for the food we received so decided to eat else where and catch breakfast at McDonalds down the road the next day.
The only other downside was the broken lift which meant carrying our big, heavy cases up to the third floor (we had big cases as we were travelling round different hotels in places of interest over a series of days and nights)
