Description: Under new management since October 2012. Now owned and operated by Lancaster Brewery. Offering excellent quality, made to order Italian food with a Lancastrian twist. Our experienced brigade of chefs hand make a lovely array of fine dining, pizza and pasta options. The opposite of mass produced, microwaved Italian pretenders. This is great Italian food, made properly.

“try to head for here”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

Have been here a couple of times and both times very suited.
We went today (Monday) and they have an offer on any pizza or pasta for £4.95. We started with garlic bread that was thin and crispy just as I like it.
My other half had cannelloni and I had a calazone pizza. The pizza had loads and loads of cheese in fact too much for me but it was better than it being the other way round.
We just had sparkling water, Heavy night the night before !!!
The bill was only £15.10 excellent value for what we had.
The service was first class. Not intrusive or overbearing but attended to like the staff really cared. Well done on this.
Well worth a visit central in Lancaster.

“nice food, peculiar service”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

We were first seated under the AC vent which was blowing so hard the candle went out as soon as they lit it and when I moved my cutlery the napkin blew off the table. We moved and the food was nice enough for the price. The waiting staff were friendly but odd and kept interrupting us to check our food was OK- a check-up once per course is enough in my book, not 3 times from 3 different members of staff per course. One waitress was so loud when she interrupted us that it made the other customers looked round. The music was dreadful, predominantly power ballads culminating in an entire backstreet boys album. We may have caught them on an off night, but we wont be going there again in a hurry.

“Delicious food and great value”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

My fiance and I went in for lunch last weekend and ordered from the pasta and pizzas special menu. He had spaghetti bolognese and I had alfredo fettuccine. It was delicious and a really big portion. We both had a mains and a glass of lemonade each and it came to £14.50. This is such good value and the food really is worth it. We have found that Italian restaurants in the area have left us disappointed but this was a superb find. We will definitely be back!
