Having read others reviews about this cafe we decided to give it a try. This is a hidden gem, tucked up a side street, you could think you had taken the wrong turning. We had afternoon tea for £9.95 each, for this we had lovely ham and homemade chutney sandwiches with side salad followed by cake and a big pot of tea. I had carrot cake and my daughter had a scone with clotted cream and jam, (the choice of scones is amazing) each were absolutely delicious. Service was relaxed which made a nice change from feeling rushed to get in and back out again, just as well as we were stuffed and did not eat for the rest of the day. Well worth the money and the extra time it took us to find the cafe. Cheers.
