Description: You list Weatherspoons in Lancaster (http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g187064-d969087-Reviews-Weatherspoons-Lancaster_Lancashire_England.html), but this is actually Morecombe, not Lancaster. I've changed the Property details to reflect it's true name and location.

Right next door to the travelodge so very handy for breakfast - cheap meals and friendly staff. Nice handy beer garden to the side of the building which is also very handy,

Went for breakfast with friends. It took half an hour to order because not only was it busy, there were few staff serving and people were blatantly pushing in the queue. This was tolerated by the bar staff who just didn't seem to care about serving people in order.

Once we ordered we waited nearly an hour for our food. After 45 minutes of waiting we asked where our food was and they said they'd forgotten our order. When we went to cancel and get a refund they miraculously "found" our order - how convenient. We were too hungry and embarrassed in front of our friends to cancel (they had all received their food at this point) that when it finally arrived we ate it. The sausages were okay, the bacon was flabby and disgusting, the egg had been sitting out, and the rest of it was okay. All in all it wasn't worth waiting five minutes for, never mind sixty. The waiting-on staff were run off their feet and I felt bad for them having to apologise for something that wasn't their fault.

Yes, it's cheap, but even so you would expect a certain standard.

Good location in the centre, nice n cosy. Good menu choices and reasonably priced. Was a bit of a mix up with our order but it was easily sorted with an apology and a smile. Went back the day after for breakfast, which was lovely, hot, cooked to perfection.

Cheap grub but excellent quality although beers can be a bit touch and go i.e. frequently the barrell may be off, cloudy beer!

Perhaps the one I prefer in Lancaster, usually had slightly better food here. Good cheap Hardy's wine too.
