We used to love dining here, real wholesome pub grub, sat by an open fire. sadly, this is no longer the case. I am not sure whether the landlord has introduced austerity measures, as we sat in the cold to remarkably downsized, substandard portions. Given the handful of whitebait, which was searved as a starter, perhaps the landlord should consider relocating the goldfish? Moving on to the second course, how can three identical dishes vary so dramatically and why were there more peas than chips on my son's plate?
I now understand why many of the locals have jumped ship (no pun intended), in favour of the neighbouring establishment.
