Great Location, big room with comfy bed. We had a room with a window overlooking an alley, so not much of a view but that was not a problem for us. If you like quiet night would suggest you ask reception for a quiet room, from ours even though it was facing an alley we could hear people out in the main street, we did not mind but some people might. There are lots of places close by including wetherspoons opposite and a Cuban Cafe round the corner which was a little more expensive but very good

Agree with a lot of reviews, the location is very good. No there isn't parking but hey that's Leamington. There are side streets that are free from 6pm until 8am so look out for those, otherwise there is a multi storey 200metres away for £4 every 24 hours. Lots of nearby pubs and restaurants, we ate at a local Chinese then had a drink in the Wetherspoon's opposite the hotel. Bit of confusion upon checkin, one of the new starters had mistakenly checked us in at 11am. Bed is quite hard, room very very stuffy and no air con, hotel looks very nice from the outside but the inside is very tired and creaky and you hear everything from other rooms and outside your room. Didn't have a shower but the tap cold water was luke warm. My room mate had the double bed and I requested that a single bed was made up as most rooms can accomodate 4 people. Was woken up at the crack of dawn by bin men outside (window was open to try and cool us down.) All in all, for 50quid a room it was what was expected but there is a Premier Inn opposite which I will use next time as it is slighter better quality than Travelodge. One more thing, reception is not manned after 10pm so you need your key card to get into the hotel.

Firstly the positives; the location is fantastic for Leamington Spa and the building is old with lots of character. Staff are very friendly. Negatives - no car park (Premier Inn is just over the road from one), nowhere to eat or drink - they rely on nearby eateries so can't have a bit of breakfast there. Also, I appreciate they must be limited to what they can do because it's Grade II listed but the one lift was incredibly old and slow plus the room was modern but had just been tarted up a bit with paint and pictures. Fundamentally it was a tired room, the shower was broken and the pressure very low. For a budget stay I would definitely recommend Premier Inn over this having experienced both.

We and another family stayed here to visit Warwick Castle. The hotel is very central and an easy walk to lots of pubs and restaurants. The hotel is a grade II listed building and looks very grand, it has an impressive staircase inside. Our family room was larger than we have had at other Travelodges and our bed was really comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid a promotional price of £20 for the night and couldn't fault it.

Great solidly built hotel with thick walls and large rooms. Unfortunately, no air conditioning and the windows had restricted opening (for my own safety), so it was hot and uncomfortable and also noisy, with a crowed of drunks singing and shouting in the street up until four am. We arrived by car. There was nowhere to park to drop off our bags. The receptionist directed us to a car park that did not exist. When questioned again a frustrating half an hour later she told us that she had meant that we should find on-road parking where we could. (By purchasing another parking ticket after 6 PM we were able to park from 8 am till 10 pm the next morning.) Nice hotel conveniently located and, once you know what to do about the lack of parking) a good budget choice.

Great central location, very close to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, so plenty of choice for breakfast. Helps to know the area to get the best parking options but parking directed to good. Would have been nice to have hairdryer.

Perfect location, fantastic value for money ,car parking £4. for 24hours, 2 min walk to cafes and all amenities. The regent hotel now the Travelodge once had queen Victoria stay. We stayed coming back from the isle of white and having visited Osborn House, and we were not disappointed.
