“Beautiful gardens, lovely place for a walk and to take kids”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

Love this park in Leamington, it has beautiful flower beds, a restaurant and coffee shop and lots for kids to see and do (feed ducks/swans, play area, boating area, general running around). It is very clean and tidy and in the summer there is either a brass band or jazz band playing on a Sunday for free. You can take a picnic and make a family day out of it.

“Peaceful retreat in the heart of Leamington Spa”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

The gardens are usually full of interesting floral displays and there are some good specimen trees. You can walk by the river Leam and feed the ducks as well.

“Lovely park”

Check out this park if you are in the area. Lots of squirrels scurrying around. Great for a picnic on a nice day.

“Good for walks and boating; there are better children's play areas though”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

We walk through the park each week on our way to the library with our young daughter. The children's play park is out of the way, almost hidden, and is not as good as the park in Warwick (St Nicholas) which has far more play equipment, nor the one the other side of the library.

That said, it is a fabulous place to walk through. There is a lot of care taken in the gardens (fabulous landscaping). There is a large green opposite a reasonably priced cafe which has a great tree for climbing on. It is also a great place to play hide and seek.

We also use this park for boating. There is a bridge behind the hothouse, over the river, and then you turn left just outside the park. Go through the children's play area, and then there is a building that you need to walk around - the boats are on the other side. We went several times and thought it was closed! It is really worth doing - we did it as a birthday treat - and you get great views of the castle.
