“Wedding Guest”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

I came here for a wedding.
The main room when we arrived was set up for the ceremony, very nice, open, airy etc. could have done with new carpet on the stage area as it was a bit threadbare.
Bar area is smaller but nice, drafty by the door, but to be expected.

Overall the venue is nice, but they seem to have issues by the toilet area, there was only 1 female toilet available for the whole day for all the guests which was not great, especially when there was no mirror in the disabled loos!

I don't think it is cheap, but the location is good, near to center with hotels nearby.
also opposite the gardens, which in the summer especially would be lovely for photos.

“Good place to start your trip”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Well restored building although not much of the original function seems to remain. Good cafe and facilities for the visitor,

it houses the local Tourist office. Mind however that parts of the facility seemed to be closed if you visit on a Monday.

The Royal Pump Rooms are situated in the Parade and so are close to the centre of Leamington Spa making the building a good place to start to see the town.

“Great redevelopment of an old space”
Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

Leamington Spa is a must visit place. I love the mix of the old and the new. The facade of the pumps rooms is wonderful. The interior is very clean and has that functional surgical feel all this conversions do. However it also manages to have a charm which most don't. The cafe looked fun. Loved the tourist office all in all charming. Also loved having a drink from the water fountain by the river. Like all spa water it was disgusting but fun to say you've drunk it.

“Excellent small gallery”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

The Pump Rooms are really a small complex including the museum and art gallery, a tourist office / souvenir shop, cafe and public library. The collection itself is not large but eclectic, from very modern to very traditional, and well presented. There are frequently interesting temporary exhibitions, currently one focusing on rural life entitled This Green and Pleasant Land. The museum is housed partly in the former hammam. If, like me, you are prone to "museum fatigue" on occasions, this will pass an interesting and enjoyable hour very easily.

“Friendly staff in the museum and art gallery”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Ready to help and answer questions .Went to see a particular exhibition 50 years of the Irish club ,which was small but interesting .Shame it wasn't in one of the main galleries and better displayed ,( the black and white photos were already tatty and it's only been open three days ???very difficult to read as it was so dark ) surely there are more artefacts which could have been put on show considering the length of time the Irish have been settled in Leamington !!!
The exhibition of farming was excellent ,loved the range of artefacts which included a scarecrow ,wonderful paintings and the photographs are thought provoking .
Well done to who ever has been involved with the children's area ,it is so well thought out .Im sure the children will enjoy it .
It was great to see the multi bladed penknife I remember it from my childhood !!
The restaurant staff are also very pleasant and had a lovely lunch
