-Rooms: spacious rooms with comfortable beds, plenty of light from large windows overlooking the gardens, large comfortable beds
-Service: friendly staff; could have provided a bit more information about the hotel and what to do in the area at check-in
-Restaurant: excellent dinner and breakfast, good service and food
-Facilities: The Spa is not linked to the hotel so you have to walk outside and it wasn’t very clear whether Spa was included in the room rate, access to Spa without treatments was £25 which seemed quite expensive. When we visited the outside area was closed so only the indoor pool with a small sauna and steam room were available, all treatments were also booked out

I stayed here one night to break a journey further North. It's within easy striking distance of the motorway. Staff were incredibly helpful with luggage, basically anything you wanted/needed was not too much trouble. Room was lovely, arrived after dark and had a fabulous surprise opening the curtains to just a breath taking view from my room in the main house over the gardens. The brasserie was fine and quite busy, food excellent. bed & pillows extremely comfy, an excellent nights rest was had.
Another time i would be sure to arrive earlier to enjoy the ambiance, spa and gardens. There will definitely be a next time!

Room tip: Views from the main house room are fabulous.

Dear Judith D

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your most recent stay.

I am very pleased to read that you enjoyed your time with us.

The views across the grounds are truly breath taking.
On your return visit please do ask our gardener Gianni to give you a guided tour of our beautiful grounds - He will be more than happy to show you around our kitchen gardens, that provide produce for our kitchens.

Kindest regards

Great Spa, staff, and food. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and the room was very comfortable. The nuts and fruit in the room was a lovely touch. The Spa is amazing particularly the outside jacquzzi. Food at the Spa cafe was good but quantity was so small compared to the price. Breakfast was lovely and dinner at the Brasserie was amazing

We booked ourselves in for a one night stay to wrap up a long day of travelling. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we were attended to and met with friendly and welcoming staff. The receptionist was very friendly (Sophie I think?) and helpful.

We had a beautiful master room with fabulous views of the garden and very spacious room - felt like royalty!

Breakfast was delicious and silver service was yet another addition to help us to enjoy our stay even more. You pay extra for use of spa facilities but well worth it. Myself and my fiancée cannot wait to come back!

We booked a weekend here to celebrate our 1st wedding Anniversary as well as an opportunity for a short getaway before the arrival of our first baby.

We had a brilliant experience at the hotel. Staff were extremely attentive and polite, they couldn’t do enough, from fetching my car to the entrance and loading the luggage etc.

They ensured that our dietary requirements were thoroughly met from breakfast through to dinner and went over and beyond to ensure complete satisfaction.

They have acres of wonderful gardens to walk around, take a mat and bask in the sun during the sunny days

The spa was beautiful, clean and well kept. Being an Easter weekend it wasn’t overbooked like other spas typically are. Just the right amount of people to still enjoy the use of the spa facilities without it being uncomfortable

The spa itself is architecturally designed to give you the feeling of being away from home... the exterior building and courtyard has a beautiful meddateranian design and feel which was a treat to see and experience

Would come back in a heartbeat!
