I love Indian food and have tried Indian cuisine before. But to my amazement, the food here was different with a unique menu. And I have to admit that the south Indian food they serve is definitely a must try. Enjoyed the mix seafood platter and the chef’s special, "cheera erachi", which was lamb with spinach. The food was fresh and aromatic. Also tried the spicy rice with tamarind juice, called "Pulichoru". For sure, this is not just any average Indian restaurant. The food is simply awesome.

This restaurant is an absolute gem.
The food is absolutely amazing and the choices varied (but not excessive like most Indian restaurants)
It caters for most diners, including vegetarians and vegans (as most Keralan food is cooked in coconut oil rather than ghee)
There is a choice of three or four different meat dishes, six or so fish dishes and a wide choice of vegetables and soups.
My meal was a vegetable dhosa (large pancake filled with potato and vegetable curry), followed by King fish curry cooked in coconut with chilli rice and a mango salad - Stupendous!!!

I went there for their popular business lunch for 5.90 pounds, a good deal considering the price of other things on their menu. The set consisted of one plain dosa, rice of the day and two kinds of curry served in small cups, seasoned potato stuffing, and three kinds of mild dipping sauces (I think they were coconut chutney and tomato chutney). Don't let the portion fool you because by the end of the meal, I got so full I couldn't finish it all. While presentation-wise, it looks very interesting, the combination of dosa, rice and potato can be quite heavy. The curries they served that day were chicken curry with black pepper (delciously rich and creamy) and vegetable korma, which had a slightly sweet and sour taste. Flavourful but not too spicy. I didn't like the other three sauces as much but thought their cool and lightness gave a nice balance to the whole meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant too: the room is nicely decorated and tables are not too clustered together. The staff was superb and very polite. It was a great meal throughout. I will definitely go back to try their other dishes.

Loved the food!!
I am from the southern part of India. So, I usually favour such restaurants :-)

Visited on a friday evening, and it was quite busy. The taste is very close to the authentic South Indian taste (except of course, the spice level :-D ). I wouldn't call this Kerala cuisine. They served other dishes as well, like dosa, kesari etc. which were all equally tasty.
The staff were very courteous. Overall an enjoyable dining experience.

Will be definitely visint again!
