Description: Chico’s is undoubtedly one of Leamington Spa’s most lively eateries. From the friendly staff to the fun groups of young people who seem to surround the tables night after night this was never going to be the place for a stuffy three course meal. However, far from being a High Street theme restaurant Chico’s feels very much like one of those gems you might stumble across on holiday and return to night after night. From the moment you arrive, roll up your sleeves, and get stuck in to those South American inspired cocktails to the moment you declare yourself defeated by the hearty portions of quesadilla and chilli you just know you’ll be back.

“Lovely family afternoon”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Called in after being offered a promotional free coffee and decided to eat we were not disappointed the food was great. We were looked after by one of the owners who was very welcoming and as a result have booked a family party for the end of the month

“Great atmosphere, fab service”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We've had several meals here over the last 3 years or so and have always been delighted - whether with friends or elderly relatives, we've consistently been made to feel that our needs are the most important. I particularly appreciate the staff's flexibility and "spoiling" me for instance when I ask for a combination of two of my favourite dishes at the same time - enjilladas AND chili con carne on the same plate !!
much kindness is shown like free garlic bread whilst we are waiting; excellent wine-list with warming and spicy Chilean reds, not to mention a good house Champagne!
Mine host couldn't be more professional, considerate and friendly.
Well worth maiing the twenty-mile train trip from Birmingham for : I've yet to discover anywhere in Brum (neither city centre nor suburbs) to equal Chicos !!

“Great family meal for Father's Day”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

We had a great meal here last night with our two young boys. The staff were very attentive and looked after us so well. They interacted with the children and made the meal fun.

The food was excellent. We will be back for more!

“Excellent Mexican”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

We had avoided Chiccos for years because of unfavourable reviews from friends, but due to the allure of trying the venue out at a reduced cost due to a Groupon deal we decided to give it a try. What a good bit of marketing this was - the food, atmosphere and staff were all fantastic and the meal exceeded expectations ten times over. We will be back - at full price! (my 10 year old already wants her next birthday party there!).

“Won't be back”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

Recently visited after I was bought a groupin voucher as a present. We were initially rudely informed we couldn't use the voucher on a fri/sat night despite the fact the voucher said nothing of the sort. After deliberating at our table for a good 5 minutes the manager finally demanded to know where we were from. We informed him leamington and he said he'd 'allow' us to use the voucher (assuming he thought he'd get repeat trade?!).
Being made to feel like some sort of scamming cheapskate is not my idea of good service.
Food was average, couldn't get a drink after the initial one, staff didn't even glance in our direction.
Won't be back, service/food would need to improve dramatically to justify the price.
