We visited this place for lunch on a day in Preston. The food was well presented in a clean and pleasant environment. At £6.99 its good value and drinks are reasonably priced too. Some of the dishes were a little too salty for my taste but most were very tasty. It was quiet and we were shown to a table immediately by very friendly staff. For a quick and tasty lunch this is good value

We are BIG fans of Chinese Buffet.
This is one of the better ones, in bright clean surroundings and, in the evcening it has a really good selection, with sushi, mains, teppanyaki, pancakes and noodle bar and a big desert cabinet, ice cream and (not for us) a chocolate fountain.

Having thoroughly enjoyed meals at the Chinese Buffet previously we were looking forward to another lovely meal on Thurs 20 June. Unfortunately on this occasion we were extremely disappointed. The soup was luke warm, the sushi bar was bare & even after alerting staff, took far too long to be replenished. Indeed during the time we were there no -one from the kitchen came to check the hot dishes, some of which looked very unappetizing. Worst of all was the lack of staff, we had to ask for our table to be cleared and again had to search for someone to ask to refill our China Tea. When we mentioned our poor experience when paying the bill (which we paid in full) the waitress explained that the lack of staff was due to the students they employ having left uni for the summer!!!! The following morning my partner rang and asked to speak to the Manager who wasn't there but my partner was assured he would ring back - he must have gone the same way as the students as to date he hasn't phoned!!!!!

We much enjoyed the food here in Preston's " own TCB".
Chinese style home cooks know ingredients and sources/sauces.

People are aware that the vast choice is possible because it comes from specialist importers; menus in Chinese UK restaurants are mostly supplied from Chinese warehouses/hypermarkets.
The quality is good, rarely high end butchery or local greens.

2 of us chose selectively to sample and eat well-prepared dishes in traditional order from starters to puds.
We ate most of the main choices on offer by sample not volume!
The rice choice was brought refreshed by a Chinese cook in whites while we were there.

Tea is the best choice of drink (£1 and free renewal pot).
It aids digestion; fizzy or alcoholic drinks will increase the bill considerably.

Noted by Kev below and real reviews posted earlier this is a growing and very successful chain which has emerged rapidly in a handful of small towns.
The business model is genuine. Mass catering of budget food and you can eat genuinely as much as you can.

We agree that the "hot" plate served lukewarm. Hot would dry out so why expect piping hot if safe? An un-manned range is a cost saving.

The place is comfortable, well furnished, light and airy.
Former use and excellent location fits the restaurant setting now.
A restaurant experience not the canteen experience as in the fast food outlets.

Given our tale of the food, the wide choice of dishes, attentive and hard working table service (the 2 young Chinese male waiters especially) we highly recommend this place.

You can eat small naan, pappadums and curry sauces too.
The crab claws are expensive and an unexpected choice outside pricier places.

Central for shoppers just off Fishergate towards the inner ring road.
Busy mix of local and overseas (student) customers who can eat spring rolls to chocolate cake slices.
Opposite UCLAN campus which helps.

Relax and enjoy.

Have been here many times before and always been satisfied . This evening food was really not good . Most of it like warm .soup cold and al of it very very salty and dry . Ran out of several dishes . Sweets evidence of been out for long periods of time . Buffet at 12.99 and overpriced drinks . Many other places offer better standard of food and value for money . Shame because it used to be very good and nice building
