At one time you would find the high street full of tea houses in the past few years they have been replaced by chains of coffee shops with no character. This little tea shop down a preston side street puts them to shame. The home made simple food is just what is needed for a rainy day in Preston. You can spend a fortune for a coffee and biscuit a hundred yards away at costa. This is what people need Good value tea house with waitress service. If we went back to the past and had waitress service we would all benefit.

Where to start with this hidden gem?

Wow, the selection of amazing Tea's here is truly mind-boggling. Both myself and my partner tried selections from the spiced Green Tea section of the menu and were not disappointed. Full of flavour and gives you a good vibe.
I love the unique teapots they bring your tea in.
Their food menu is a little more limited, but of course TEA is where this place focuses. However that isn't to say the food they serve isn't great. Tasty salads and wonderful broths and sandwiches are the order of the day. Of course they also serve a nice variety of tasty cakes.

The staff here are friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to recommending teas.

Service was a little tardy and my Polish-American friend was greeted rather curtly by the Polish staff member.

The Polish food was tasty. It has a nice quiet atmosphere and the sofas are pretty comfy.

We ordered 4 specialist teas, 2 baguettes, 1 toastie, 1 cake and had no disappointments, all were above expectations and presented beautifully. Total cost £24. We stayed a long time and were not rushed. Plenty of options for special diets - we had a gf and a veggie and had choices for both. The specialist teas are worth the extra pennies, it is an experience as well as a drink - the lovely waitress advised us and helped us choose well. This was our first visit and it will now be our first choice when visiting Preston, highly recommended.
