The hotel was lovely and clean and the room was nice and spacious and well presented. However the day that we were there was a particularly warm one and this was a problem as the room was very hot and there was no air conditioning. We opened the window all night but as this hotel is next to a busy dual carriageway which our room overlooked and we were constantly woken by the traffic noise. Not a problem if the windows were closed but with no aircon and a night temp of about 24 degrees this was not an option. I mentioned this the next day and we were told that there were fans available but if someone mentioned that the night before we would probably have borrowed one. Food was good but as with so many hotel breakfasts the bacon was under cooked and had large chunks of white watery fat around the edges. Most people prefer bacon to be much more cooked than this, even to the point of being a little crispy.

It seems strange to me that a hotel that is not very old was not fitted with air conditioning and for that reason I would think twice about staying there again in the summer months. This is a shame as the hotel generally is modern, clean and spacious.

Location near the town center was good and there is car parking available.

Room Tip: If its warn outside ask for one that does not face the road.

Have just returned after a 4 night stay at the Legacy Preston International. All in all it was a lovely stay, staff were so friends and helpful, rooms were very clean, room service was lovely. Only down side the mattress on the bed was way too soft for our liking, it was like lying on a marshmallow.

Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. Rooms are very airy and just lovely. Highly Recommended.

Room Tip: We had room 604, top of the hotel, excellent views of Preston, overlooking the railway, which we fou...

to all you reviewers who whinged about this hotel, get real!! this hotel is bang on, spotlessly clean, great bed, nice to have a bath instead of a shower, breakfast was buffet style and the food was hot and tasty, 5 minutes walk to the city centre, my wife and i stopped on Saturday the 10th of August for £49.00 including breakfast, we,ve stopped in hotels who have charged twice as much and not a patch on this one, next time we are in Preston we will be staying here.

At last a decent budget alternative to the Premier Inn. Ideally situated for the railway station & shopping centre. Good breakfast included in the price (reservation made through Booking.com), friendly staff, comfy bed & pillows, clean room, tea/coffee/hot choc/biscuit, iron & board, safe, free wifi. Extremely good value, would recommend.

Stayed on a Saturday night following a family event. Room was spotless, bed comfortable, excellent bathroom.
Had a bar snack, pretty good for the cost. The bar is functional no, draught ale though. Breakfast was normal buffet and very good although I don't like he trend towards DIY tea and coffee from what look like vending machines.
Was quite difficult to find by car, went past it twice on a dual carriageway!
Overall, for a low cost, city centre hotel this place is very good, I've paid a lot more to stay in much less comfortable hotels.

Rooms were of a good standard and very clean with all the essentials provided. Carpet was clean but slightly worn. Bed had crisp white clean sheets though was not the most comfortable but a lot better than a travelodge.

Bathroom was fitted with quality fittings and was spotless.

Breakfast had a good range though quality of the food wasn't anything special.

Overall was pleasently suprised how much we got for our money as we booked with an offer. Located around 10mins walk to city centre.
