Great quality food with a wide menu without giving you so many options you can't choose. Excellent sea food options and equally good for lunch or dinner

Thank David H

Visited with two colleagues. Had booked in advance and were promptly shown table, drinks order taken and menus provided. A good selection and all 3 had starters and main courses. I had the stuffed pork fillet main.
Excellent all round

The Malt Shovel is a beautiful pub with a gorgeous garden. I went there with my parents and the dog for a drink or two. It was a little busy (expected for such a good pub) but found some seats outside on the patio. Reasonable prices, excellent service and the menu looked very tasty. It also has a spacious car park.
