Ate here last evening with my young son and four friends.I reviewed this restaurant on tripadvisor,as we we unfamiliar with the area.

We wanted a top quality curry after attending an exhibition at the NEC.We were not disapointed.
We booked in advance and were well greeted by all the staff who were attentive and very polite. They advised all aspects of the food and explained the menu fully to my son.
To sum up An exceptional indian restaurant Really great food and very reasonable in price. One of the best indians I have ever visited. It is also very close to the airport, nec and the motorway junction.

We found this restaurant about 2 years ago - the perfect place to dine and recover from a busy day. The food is contemporary and traditional fare , with a modern twist on old favourites. Seeing the kitchen as you walk in allows you to see fresh ingredients being used by the chefs.

Service has always been excellent with the staff showing sincerity, good knowledge of the dishes on offer and great courtesy.

We booked onto one of the cookery courses on offer and spent a wonderful time learning new skills and cooking great food with Maz the director and chef.

Since we started to visit The Delhi it has continued to be our favourite indian restaurant in the West Midlands and would recommend it to anybody.

My family and I dined here for my sister's birthday. The restaurant itself is situated upstairs and is absolutely tiny - probably seats no more than 20 people, so booking a table is essential as every table was filled. We were very warmly welcomed by the waiters and shown to our table, and an order for drinks was taken immediately.

The menu is extensive with plenty of choice for starters and mains. I opted for the onion bhaji starter which was tasty and well presented. The main course was just as good, a medium spiced lamb dish. However, there were a few minor mix ups with the food, for example onions were left in one of the meals when we requested for them to be removed, which we told the waiter about and he was very apologetic. We also had lamb in a curry when we had asked for chicken, we did not tell the waiter about this however as my brother did not mind!

The food itself was enjoyable - not the best Indian food I have ever had, but no major complaints, and the service was quick and friendly.

We have been to the deli several times and every time the food was great.. The staff are really friendly , the resturant is small so its best to pre book a table, we went on a Thursday night and we had to wait for a table for 6. Plenty of pubs near by so not a problem.
