We have recently stayed at "Appletreewick" Guest House on a recent visit to Birmingham. This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely house. Located in Olton, it is ideal location for Solihull Town Centre, NEC, Airport, etc. A warmer welcome would be hard to find. Chris, the Proprietor, has a lovely home and the accommodation is excellent. A lovely, big bedroom and bathroom, excellent Lounge and Dining Room, excellent breakfast. A real home-from-home. The house is spotlessly clean and warm and overlooks beautiful gardens, both back and front. Chris makes you feel so welcome and comfortable and we would like to thank her for such a lovely stay and hope to visit again.

Four of stayed with Chris in her lovely Bed & Breakfast. It was a beautiful house and in a very quiet residential road. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, airy and spacious. We were welcomed with a cup of tea in the lounge and Chris helped us out with places to eat for the evening. She is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble, she did everything possible to ensure our stay was a pleasure. We all commented on how much we felt at home. The breakfast was very well presented and was as much as we could eat, juice, grapefruit, cereals, a full english and toast with tea or coffee. After another visit to the NEC we would definately stay here again and not hesitate to recommend this homely b&b to other visitors. Well done Chris.

This lovely house and it's helpful and friendly owner are certain to please you. The house is situated in a residential street of other larger properties, about 5 minutes drive from the centre of Solihull.

Accommodation standard is very high, and so is the breakfast. Definitely a place I would return to.

Room Tip: There is a row of shops with a very good indian Restaurant at the end of the road. Fantastic showe...

Very welcoming guest house, would highly recommend it. The house and garden are beautiful, service was second to none. The house is situated in a nice quiet area, but still within easy reach of Solihull town centre, the airport and NEC. Would also recommend the fish and chip shop 5 mins along the road, best fish and chips I have ever had.

Three of us stayed for 2 nights to attend an event at the NEC in Birmingham. All of us rated Chris's B&B very highly. Comfortable, clean, great breakfast and an extremely helpful and friendly host - what more could one ask for. We would highly recommend and we will be back again next year.

This was a lovely B&B in a quiet residential area on a side road carrying a moderate amount of traffic.. We stayed for one night.
The owner Chris offered us tea or coffee when we arrived and showed us how things worked in our room and told us that we could use the lounge. Our room was a pleasant large twin at the front of the house with lots of storage and a flat screen TV plus a spacious bathroom with a super large shower with loads of jets which probably can do lots of fancy things. If I had had my specs on I might have worked out how to use more than the basic shower.
We each had a bottle of water at the bedside and there was a kettle and an ample supply of tea and coffee.
The morning was warm and sunny and the dining room opened into a pleasant conservatory which opened on to a big lawned garden with an enormous willow tree. Our breakfast was a standard English cooked with fruit juice and cereals etc.
There was a large nicely furnished lounge adjoining the dining room which we could use.
We felt at home in this place and Chris was very helpful.
We had a problem finding the house even though we knew virtually where we were going as the small name plate was obscured by Ivy and the number was on the side of the gatepost not the front and not easy to see. We pointed this out to Chris.

This is a lovely place to stay. Chris is friendly and welcoming - makes you feel at home. I had a wonderful view from my bedroom window, of a very large, immaculately kept garden, complete with willow tree. Very English garden! It's very close to the town - my first visit to Solihull and I was surprised at how love this whole areas is. I would wholeheartedly recommend this B and B. I'm there on business again next week and look forward to my return.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the garden are quiet.
