Situated in the centre of Tewkesbury, couldn't be better placed for exploring the Cotswolds and Worcestershire and further afield.
Lovely accommodation with everything you could want. Welcome breakfast pack too. Would certainly come again.

“Tranquillity personified in the Cotswolds”
Reviewed June 27, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This is the first time we had visited Tewkesbury and it followed on from a couple of city breaks in Lincoln and Chester (on our mini tour of England). We found the Mews to be a delightful, peaceful, retreat in the centre of a bustling market town of great character.
The accommodation was everything we could possibly have expected, with the welcome addition of breakfast ingredients awaiting us. The lovely lounge with high ceiling and comfortable furnishings, a nice dining kitchen with views over the rear courtyard garden with stairs leading to the two bedroom, two bathroom sleeping accommodation. The master bedroom featured a nice comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom with wet room style shower.
The central location in Tewkesbury with its traditional pubs and some good eateries, as well as nice shops ensured that we had an excellent stay.
We will return!

“Double booked ”

I booked this pretty muse cottage for my wife's birthday. We love the Cotswolds and had never been to Tewkesbury, so we were really looking forward to seeing somewhere that was new to us. I had also booked 'My Great Grandfathers Restaurant', which was just opposite the accommodation. We had a two and a half hour journey and arrived about 4.30. My contact was a person called Alex and she had given us full instructions regarding parking and accessing the property.
We were just about to enter when we met a very confused man, who introduced himself as Alex's husband. He informed us that someone was already in the cottage but Alex would be able to sort something out. He took us into their kitchen and we waited. Long story short, we had been double booked. Both Alex and her husband were very pleasant. Alex tried to find us alternative accommodation while we took ourselves to Wetherspoons to get a stiff drink. The next thing my wife saw was Alex walking towards her with an envelope in hand. She was again very apologetic and offered to put us up in the Wetherspoons hotel. I negotiated compensation and she gave us £100 on top of our refund. We eventually ended up staying in a very tired Hilton on the outskirts of town and cancelled the restaurant.
I cannot understand how you can double book someone who you had communicated with the previous day. This ruined my wife's birthday. We had brought perishable foodstuffs with us as we supposed to be self catering. It doesn't get much worse than this. I'm sure the cottage is as lovely as most of the reviewers have stated, however I'm not in a position to comment.

Great location. Very quaint and great value. Only minor issue was ants and slugs. Overall we had a fabulous time.

“Well worth another visit”
Reviewed April 5, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

A magical stay at the mews. We were ready for a nice relaxing holiday and found it. There was nice big sofas to relax on, however I do wish they would have kept it oldy worldy throughout just how we like it. The owners cat made himself at home however I must admit we did spoil him a little bit. A nice private garden area but a little cold for sitting outside. I just hope the owners are happy how we left it because we are hoping to go back. There are lots of sights to see. It's so handy for eating out, I must recommend Tilly's cafe. Also the Nottingham arms accept dogs so while you have a drink and a meal they are not left alone

“Great Location”
Reviewed September 30, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The mews was a great location, plenty of places to eat near by at good prices, if you drive Hobnails was excellent for a cavery & Gupshill did a very good Sunday lunch.
We had various people staying with us over our 10 days who loved the place.
Our only negative was the dishwasher was left very dirty by previous guest which was not picked up by the owner. Inernet was a bit hit & miss kept dropping out. Excellent value for money. The parking bay made it so easy to drive in & out of Tewkesbury.
