Description: 1st class Indian restaurant serving beautifully cooked Bengali & Balti cuisine. We started our meal with totally frash poppadums with an exceptional selection of dips pickles & chutneys. We enjoyed a range of starters including Onion Bhajee sheek kebab and shaslickl special. Excellent main courses included a memorable Lamb Passanda - rice and breads were 1st class. everything was served piping hot by pleasnt and caring staff in clean comfortable surroundings - just one complaint and that was the coffee could have been a better quality otherwise highly recommended by an ex hotels and restaurant inspector

After having heard so much and read the reviews, I decided to give it a go. I must say that the choices on the menu are quite extensive. In my opinion the food was average and we were all very disappointed. No one left feeling that the food was anything but. We felt let down after reading so many good things. We definitely will not go back again.

This restaurant was recommended by a couple we spoke to in the Nottingham Arms. I had a fish curry and it was excellent.

A nice welcome with a good happy buzz all around in this unsuprisingly very busy restaurant. A great menu with many unique house dishes as well as all the old favorites and a good wine list to go with it. The food had finesse and was beautifully presented, great service and best of all the prices were amazingly cheap. The overall experience was very pleasant and made it a very special evening.
The staff here were friendly and very professional offering advice on menu selection as well as taking a real interest in your enjoyment without becoming too intrusive.
Highly reccommended for everything.

Went on a Thursday evening (early), it was very full, loved the food, has some unusual items I haven't seen elsewhere.
