Stunning old manor house beautifully renovated and turned into a classy looking place to eat and drink. Food tasty but menu priced a bit higher than a normal pub. Worth it though for quality of surroundings. Big car park and places to sit outside when weather permits. Also good for functions. Located just outside of Tewkesbury town on road to Gloucester. Family friendly. Good for afternoon teas and snacks too. Loved the chocolates that came with the bill. Friendly staff.

First impressions were very good, the Gupshill Manor has a stylish interior whilst maintaining the character of a centuries old building. There are plenty of inside and outside areas to sit, in addition to the dining room - all under cover. The staff were absolutely excellent - very, very friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable - great ambassadors for Tewkesbury. We took our family, who were visiting the area, and they commented on the fact that they were the most polite waitresses they'd ever encountered. Drinks were served prior to the meal and we sat outside whilst menus were brought to us. We stayed there until the starters were ready - hardly any time to wait, and the main course was similarly delivered in a timely manner. The food was absolutely out of this world ... a really varied and interesting menu, all well cooked, well presented and delivered faultlessly. Very good value given the quality of the meal. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Many thanks for wonderful evening.

Popped in here for lunch on our way to friends. The car park was empty when we arrived (11:59am), the welcome was almost as empty. We were asked where we wanted to sit, as it was bucketing it down we said indoors. Lots of places to chose from, selected a table, food order taken. Order cheese warp, fish and chip and portion of wedges. At no point was I told that the wrap came with chips, and wedges were not needed, even though I clearly said I will have some wedges with wrap. (Yes I could have read the menu more carefully, but with a 20 month old who wanted their food, these things are not always possible)
Food was OK. nothing amazing, pricey at £22.50 for above food and two drinks. Took the wedges home and had them in a frittia that night!

We went to Gupshill Manor for our first date and I have to say, we were both very pleased. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and the prices weren't as bad as I imagined. The environment was relaxed and everyone there was very friendly towards us. All of the staff were so knowledgeable and good at what they did. I would go there again any day.

Went with a friend for a catch up at 6.30pm in the week we had the 3 course meal for £12.50 soup, haddock pub chips and mint crushed peas and a lush fruit berry in a meringue with chantilly cream, my friend had the home made burger with pub chips and chutney relish we both really enjoyed our meals.

Staff were very attentive, food came out quickly we sat in the lovely gardens, misleading from the front of the pub to how lovely the sitting area is at the back, lovely seating area with garden lighting.

You can get a 10% card and get this off food and drink which is great value so we paid £15 each for a three course a drink and coffee to finish such good value.

Well worth a visit the seating area is also really lovely inside so give it a try!

Will go again
