We decided to try this establishment, having changed hands since it was known as the Mango tree.
The decor is bright and the venue is spacious, although smaller than expected. We opted for the £10 special comprising of any starter, main and rice or naan bread. Once you add a couple if alcoholic drinks, desert and a fish dish (1.50extra), this easily comes to £20+ per person
The food was excellent, flavoursome, nice size portions and the starters come with a selection of dips and sauces.
The Tawa, an the duck dishes were very well prepared and were hot when arriving at the table.
The staff were attentive, and friendly.
Criticisms would extend to the few dried onions on the onion salad presented with the papadoms, the broken toilets and a few to many "sprinkles" on the deserts
Overall, the meal was more than satisfactory and we will be returning. The bill came to 81.50 wih 4 starters, 2 soft drinks, 4 pints, 4 mains one side, 2 rice, 2 naans 3 deserts and one hot chocolate.
It is worth enquiring about the membership where you can have any starter, any main and a rice or bread side for £10 per couple per month.
We will be returning...
